Used SA Expeditions for a trip to Galapagos and Machu Picchu January 2026. Planned over 18 months ago and can't believe it's already come and gone but well worth the wait and amazing experience every step of the way. Our SA rep that helped us plan the trip was very helpful and always made themselves available for questions. Overall, this trip and experience exceeded our expectations. The accommodation throughout was 5 stars and the food at the hotels excellent. The guides were exceptional! We not only had a personal guide, but someone was there to meet us and drop us off and assist us at the airports. They helped claim our tickets and check our bags and walked with us until they could go no further with us. We felt well taken care of. Even our drivers were wonderful people, they made suggestions to our guides of places to stop while driving that we may want to take a photo or enjoy a view. Everyone went above and beyond, was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. The itineraries were packed but SA makes the time well spent! You are given an unforgettable experience. Was a trip of a lifetime that was planned so well. SA reps take care of you and were a phone call or email away while traveling too when and if we had a question. Highly recommended and we look forward to our next adventure with SA.

Requires more attention to detail and more direction regarding itinerary planning with more focus on age and demographics of travelers. Guides were excellent (all top notch) and provided some unique local experiences through the travels that would have otherwise not been available if planning on your own.

With the help of Claudia at SA Expeditions, I was able to plan a completely custom itinerary to see and do the things I dreamed of doing in the Patagonia region of Argentina and Chile. She arranged 5 transfers, two flights, three hotels, and two private tour guides. I was able to trek in El Chalten and Parque Nacional Los Glaciares, explore El Calafate, and stay inside Parque Nacional Torres Del Paine for several days of trekking, horseback riding, and amazing food and drink. I also toured Valpariso and the wineries of Chile. Everything ran like clockwork and exceeded my expectations. During the planning stages, I asked for several changes, and they were all handled quickly and happily. During the trip, I had a question, and she answered it immediately even though it was outside of regular business hours. I will definitely have them help me plan future trips!

We had the best experience in Vietnam. Highly recommend SA Expedition and especially working with pilar to plan everything for you from A to Z.

Peru, Mach Picchu
My wife and I went to Peru and we booked thru SA Expeditions. We had an amazing time. We were super impressed with how everything was handled. All the rooms were perfect, just what we wanted. What was exceptional was the service!! From the person who booked our trip and guided us with great suggestions. We felt every detailed was handled. What made it so effortless was when we arrived we were greated by someone. When we got to cusco we met our guide and driver for the whole week. They handled every little detail, we just had to enjoy the experience. He was so fantastic he took pictures for us the whole time like we hade our own paparazzi. Also to note this wasn't a group trip it was just the two of us. Perfect. We would definitely recommend SA Expeditions again.

SA Expeditions (Aseem Mahajan) did a great job from beginning to end putting together a first rate experience. The support before, during and after our trip was invaluable. Some of the highlights of the trip:
- Great itinerary to see abundant animals, nature, quality of guides
- Treasure of Galapagos-- outstanding food, accommodations, crew and naturalist
- Napo Lodge in the Amazon -- amazing remote location with incredible animals, great food and service, quality of the guides, visit to indigenous community
- All the various pickups were timely ensuring we made all our flights and connections
- Quality of day trips in and around Quito -- including city tour of Quito, the Equator Museum, Mindo Cloudforest, hummingbird sanctuary and chocolate factory
- Combining the Galapagos and Amazon in one trip did require a fair amount of travel to get to such remote places but well worth it.

SA Expeditions provided us with a trip of a lifetime to Costa Rica. Adam and Mikey prepared a trip catered to our specific things we wanted to do. They arrange every vehicle transfer, hotels, every guided tours and meals. They provided us with an amazing itinerary. All the details were very well explained with very precise timelines. Before the trip we had many conversations with them and answered all questions we had and they also responded to all emails very quickly. My family and I highly recommend SA Expeditions. We are planning another trip and SA will be involved for certain.

Mikey with SA Expeditions did a great job organizing and planning our trip to SE Asia. We were a big group (10 people) with lots of different ideas, preferences and needs, and our trip turned out wonderful. Would recommend SA Expeditions and Mikey.

SA Expeditions took care of all the details. It was lovely working with our representative, Zofia. She made it feel like coordinating with a personal friend! We had an incredible time in the Galapagos Islands, and Zofia was able to tack on a private tour of Quito at our request, last minute. I would definitely recommend SA Expeditions!

The itinerary was exactly how we wanted it, the hotels were awesome and all the guides and drivers were on time and full of useful information

We had a wonderful and very memorable vacation to Patagonia over the holidays! Our travel agent Matias at SA Expeditions did a superb job creating the perfect itinerary for our family with young adult children, myself and my husband and my mom/grandma. We flew from LA, spent a day in Santiago and then enjoyed Torres del Paine National Park (on Chile side). We enjoyed very nice rooms with gorgeous view of the fjord and all-inclusive excursions and meals at our hotel (Singular). We did a full tour of the national park and visited various vista points -- all gorgeous views! Another day, we took a boat ride to see the fjords, did a short hike to see Grey Glacier and visited a ranch where we enjoyed lunch, saw demos of sheep-herding and sheep-shaving and then enjoyed horseback riding along the beach of the fjord. Those were activities enjoyed by all of us across the generations. Then some of us did more active excursions (biking and horseback riding on more adventurous trails) while others took it easy to enjoy browsing works of local artists at nearby town, Puerto Natales. All of us enjoyed learning how to make empanadas in a cooking class taught by Chef Pancho! The hotel dining areas and bar were warm and cozy with great ambience -- perfect for enjoying quality time with family. The restaurant offered a wide range of delicious dishes and we were surprised that we didn't manage to sample all of them during our stay. We appreciated the wonderful hotel staff, tour guides and concierge team who helped to make a very memorable vacation!

We had such an amazing trip to SE Asia as a family! We went to Halong Bay and Hanoi, Vietnam. We then traveled to Siem Reap in Cambodia and we ended our trip in Thailand visiting Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. Claudia Cavero with SA assisted me with organizing the trip. It was fantastic from start to finish! She planned so many diverse adventures for us and we stayed in the most wonderful hotels and had the most amazing guides and our transportation everywhere was fabulous. We want to go again! I recently returned from Argentina/Patagonia using SA Expeditions. I had an amazing time in Argentina, hiking Patagonia and was thrilled with the itinerary, hotels, drivers, tour guides and professionalism from the entire team at SA, especially with Matias Sepulveda!! I look forward to my next vacation where I will 100% book with their service. SA made the entire vacation a fun and smooth adventure.

SA expeditions and especially Megan Ribeiro our agent worked with us to make sure all our needs were handled. This was my maiden cruise. Megan was there to hear my needs and selected a cruise that met it. She was available to answer all our questions and did so in a timely manner.

Great trip. Wonderful guides that informed and entertained. No safety concerns. We had a great time. Will use them again.
