Accounting services are a disaster

We've been using Sleek for 18 months and their accounting services are almost non-existent. We were supposed to get monthly reconciliation and monthly reports. We've not received any, even after asking multiple times.
The annual financial statement was full of simple mistakes (such as confusing the bank statement balance at the beginning and the end of the month and putting unreconciled transactions in Accounts Receivables when their team was unable to match the document while they had it). We had back and forth for the financial statements for months and I had to spend dozens of hours fixing their mistakes. Our accountant also went MIA for weeks multiple times.

Nicky has been amazing

Nicky has been amazing! Anytime I have a question, she responds within 30mins, and handles everything effectively. She offers reassurance and competency.
Unfortunately I cant say the same when I try to call... no one ever answers the phone.
If it weren't for Nicky's 5 star service I wouldn't bother with Sleek at all.

Poor customer service. The sales processes and onboarding was swift but once payment was made the response time got longer and now I can't get an answer from the accountant looking at our end of year accounts - I have asked 5 times.
Now worrying about missing a Companies House deadline and guessing corporation tax liability which is due next month!
A very disappointing experience so far. I would not recommend.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience.

Our CorpSec, Kitman Tang, repeatedly forgot to renew our BR — not once, but twice — even though we paid one month before the anniversary date. She was often unresponsive and failed to perform the most basic duties expected from a company secretary.

It became clear that what Sleek cares about is your money, not your compliance. At this price point, you can definitely find a much better and more reliable company secretary.

Their behavior left us feeling like the company might be heading toward bankruptcy, given the disorganization, lack of accountability, and constant service failures.

Our listed “team manager” had already left long ago, yet the information was never updated, leaving our account without proper oversight. When we requested a replacement CorpSec-in-charge due to ongoing issues, guess what, they replace the unresponsive CorpSec-in-charge as our new team manager. so funny. They were slow, unresponsive, and refused to meet reasonable deadlines.

Overall: poor management, lack of accountability, slow handling of urgent matters, and disorganized service. Not recommended.

Terrible service

Terrible service, with accountants that are so unreactive it almost seems that they are purposely doing so. I have been trying to get my accounts completed for months and upon chasing the accountant they always come back with 'sincere apologies' and then proceed to give me a new target date for completion which then gets promptly ignored. It's a shocking display of lack of any ownership or professionalism. Deeply frustrating.

Fantastic services for low prices

I found Sleek instantly, via a Google search, as they came up first in the list.
I filled in a simple query form and they rang me very soon after. Joshua was fantastic in helping me with all of my current issues in finding the correct accounting firm as I have been let down with awful information previously. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative about their services and how best they would suit each business.
It's quite daunting changing your accountant and I was most worried about how time consuming it would be.
The process in moving all three businesses over to Sleek has been incredibly efficient and not at all time consuming.
What I liked the most was that Joshua asked me what the instant priority was for each business after moving to Sleek, this was great as I knew they were interested in understanding my business needs and the way I like to work.
I would highly recommend Sleek and their prices were much lower than I was already paying elsewhere, this is very pleasing as they also provide many more services than I already had!

Shaky start

I went to try sleek rather than continue to do my own books and accounts.
Sam the sales rep made many promises that the switchover would be painless and only take 5-6 days to swap everything over from QuickBooks onto Xero.
We set up 2 company accounts with sleek and 3 months in we are still not up to speed and caught up with everything.
This has cost additional monies as we have had to subscribe to QuickBooks for an additional few months as well as pay Sleek.
We are now catching up with one company after me chasing a bit and complaining but the other company is way behind.
I am hoping it will improve soon and these are just teething problems on a new account or we will have to consider moving everything on again which is hard work.
I had a productive chat with Chloe the accountant and the payroll guy but the bookeeper seems to be the issue. Either they are new or just overwhelmed with work and not keeping up.

Wonderful service

Wonderful service by Nicky and her team. We only had the registered office subscription but always received prompt & cooperative response to our queries. Would definitely recommend them.
