When the payment is refused, the parcel cannot be released and we must request it to be returned to us. This return process is handled by the courier and, unfortunately, it can take some time before the package physically arrives back at our facilities. As soon as we receive it and the return is completed, we will be able to proceed with the next steps according to the return outcome.

I purchased a pair of Gucci glasses with zeiss lenses from the Visual Click website.
Then, the day before my delivery was due, I received a shocking text from the courier demanding an extra £83 to release my parcel due to "UK import taxes." Which I was not told and then to make matters worse the left lens was not fitted correctly in the frame how on earth where they not checked properly they where popping in and out frames.

Then it’s taking a day to receive an email back from customer service and instead of replacing them said they’d just send me lenses to fit in myself at a local opticians which they didn’t want to do to the frames not being under warranty through them.

Biggest scam company as I’m £83 down from my own pocket due to paying import chargers due to incompetence if I’m paying £300 for frames they should be getting checked correctly before sending out

Regarding the UK import taxes, these are set and collected by local authorities and the carrier, and the possibility of such charges is stated on our website in multiple places: the FAQs, shipping information, general terms and conditions, and during the checkout process before payment is completed. Unfortunately, the exact amount is not something we can determine or control in advance.

As for the issue with the lens fit, we apologise that the glasses arrived in that condition. Each order should be checked before dispatch, and we understand how unacceptable it is to receive a frame where a lens is not seated correctly. In some situations, an adjustment at an optician can be the quickest fix.

I purchased a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses from the Visual Click website. The listed price seemed competitive, and I completed my order seeing only the product cost and a standard delivery charge. Nothing – and I mean NOTHING – on the checkout page, order summary, or confirmation email indicated that I would be liable for additional import taxes or duties.

Then, the day before my delivery was due, I received a shocking text from the courier demanding an extra £60 to release my parcel due to "UK import taxes." I was blindsided.

This is a classic bait-and-switch: lure customers in with a seemingly good price, then hide massive additional fees until it's too late. The responsibility to inform EU/UK customers about potential import fees since Brexit lies with the retailer, especially one shipping internationally. Visual Click deliberately withholds this critical information to make their prices appear lower.

Paying the £60 felt like being held to ransom to receive an item I’d already paid for. The entire experience was infuriating, deceptive, and utterly unprofessional.

I will be telling all my friends and family to avoid Visual Click at all costs. They are not a trustworthy retailer. If you're in the UK, buy from a local authorised stockist instead—what you see is what you'll actually pay.

A horrible, thieving practice from a shameful website.

These fees are calculated and collected by UK authorities and the carrier, so the exact amount is not something we can set or predict in advance.

Item not delivered. Still waiting 3 months to get issue resolved and money refunded. Keep getting strung along, citing no communication from delivery vendor.

Will never use this company again.
