Beware : subordinated loans without any collateral guarantee

The first and most important thing to know is that the Crowdlending loans (i.e. for people not living in Flanders) are subordinated loans without any collateral guarantee !
(Subordinated loans are only repaid if there is some money left after everybody else has been reimbursed).
I found this out the hard way when EIB scaffolding went bankrupt a few months after the funding call of june 2024 !
Had WinWinner made a good follow up of the company, it had discovered that it had a huge debt owed to its suppliers and only a low amount of customer receivables in comparison (not counting the financial debt).
Since I received the bankruptcy notice and filed a complaint nothing happened.
Furthermore, the website has been modified, and IMO not for the better.
There is no way I will invest again here.

Beste Hubert,

No furter help or communication by bankrubt.

Communication is not good when your investment goes bankrupt. We still had not received any payment and were worried. We contacted winwinner but they told us that they had not heard anything and that we should not worry. Later I read myself (news report from the region) that the company we had invested in had gone bankrupt. We also let them know but again they were not informed. We only heard something when the company was actually bankrupt and then we were told the steps we had to follow for the creditor. In the meantime this was months ago and we still have not heard anything. We have already emailed several times. It is not pleasant that we now know nothing and are not kept informed. Conclusion, there is communication, when everything is going well. If bankruptcy is imminent we will be left to our own devices.

Beste Claudia,
