Account Blocked without any warning

After years of using Wise for my business, my account was suddenly blocked. Ok, wise states they can't explain the reasons due to internal policies, however, I wouldn't recommend building business operations by solely using their services, as sudden account closure can happen to anyone and out of the blue. Fintech are not always transparent and sometimes it is hard to claim your rights. I received my funds back in 10 days, after soliciting twice.

Reliable and trustworthy, fast and cheap

I use Wise since years and it has saved me a pretty penny in banking fees. Over the time, the app got more elaborated, everything works fast and fine. In my experience, transfers from Swiss Franks to Euros are completed within 24 hrs or possibly on the same day if you start the process in the morning. The fee is low. So if you want to transfer money between currencies for low cost, go Wise. You won’t go wrong.

"You can raise a complaint" but immediately vaguely closes your account just within hours

I'm sorry to hear we've had to close your account. As a Customer Support agent, I don't have access to the information on why we closed your account.

However, I checked again and can see that you've made an appeal and I'm afraid our team has decided to keep your account closed. Meaning unfortunately, you can no longer use our services. I apologize for any inconveniences.

Account deactivation can occur due to a number of reasons. These include but are not limited to security concerns and violation of our Terms of Use Agreement.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience, Wise has the right to close accounts. If you disagree with this decision, you can raise a complaint.
