Once again they dissapointed! First I ordered a pizza +some, waited 48 minutes just to see a message that they couldn’t deliver.
Had to eat, so ordered a burger menu from another place, minutes went by, and 15 minutes later than first announced, food arrived - cold.
Started a chat with Wolt, waited 1h 40m for nothing. No respons. Started a new chat, finally something. 55 credit that I can use for another bad experience in the future. No thank you. I just resigned from Wolt+.

The compensation offered is totally inacceptable given the circumstances.
My food was delivered cold and was inedible, which means the service I paid for was not delivered at all.
I paid over 200 DKK for this order. Offering 19 DKK in compensation does not reflect the value of the order, the failure in service, or the inconvenience caused.
I am requesting a proper refund that corresponds to the cost of the order, either a full refund or a substantial partial refund.

The customer support decided to cancel my order leaving me with no food, no money no options. I literally had to beg them for a voucher so I cns eat something. I told them repeatedly I don't have access to food and this is a medical emergency. They laughed at my face and just called it miscommunication. CHRISTIAN DANEZU spesifically was saying the same thing over and over although I explained they withheld my previous order money that I don't have enough to place a new order making fun of me and saying that I can place an order. But atlas I wasn't provided with any assistance. If I reach the hospital it will be a legal action against him personally and the business. I placed another order after that explicitly telling what I want and don't want, was reassured that the restaurant aggreed, the food came in horrible condition because my comments were disregarded. Then I was told I am not allowed to be fully refund even though I payed for two things that came wrong! And no compensation not even an apology. This has to be illegal. They literally put something that I was allergic to in the food and they couldn't care less.

I've been a frequent user of this app for years. According to them I've saved 10000DKK from wolt plus - just to clarify how loyal a customer I've been. They have changed some of the icon art for the categories to AI generated slob and right away cancelled my membership. The complete disrespect for artists is heartbreaking. They have access to so many food pictures and yet they go for that? I won't be using them again unless they drop that nonsense

Pizza arrived cold.
The delivery itself was not slow, so I'm not sure what they have done or not done to keep it warm, or if I got an old pizza from another order. It had lost all the crisp on the crust already.
Complained to Customer Support, immediate answer is just they can't do anything or care, because time limits were "upheld".
This was someone called "Jones". He would also continuously use emojis in his replies, which only felt more provocative. No service at all.
Wolt is also the same place that also don't want to do anything about Bag Fee's that customers are forced to pay, even though the food doesn't arrive in bags 90% of the time.
Horrible service all around. Just as bad as Just-Eat, at least they just suck up to their mistakes, and pay up. Wolt is shady all around.

Ordered food worth 450 DKK and the entire order arrived cold. Not “slightly warm-ish” cold cold chicken, cold jalapeño poppers, cold mozzarella sticks. This was delivered to a hotel room without a microwave or oven, so reheating wasn’t even an option. Basically paid for decorative food.
Delivery took 36 minutes with multiple stops, so it’s really no surprise the food arrived cold yet that somehow isn’t considered a problem.
Customer support then offered 87 DKK in compensation. For a 450 DKK order. That’s not compensation, that’s an insult. It felt dismissive and showed zero understanding of the situation or basic customer experience.
What makes this worse is the attitude: “This is the maximum we can offer.” No ownership, no attempt to actually resolve the issue, just policy copy-paste. Warm food should be the absolute minimum expectation — not a premium feature.
End result: cold food, poor service, and zero incentive to ever use this platform again. If this is how problems are handled, I’d rather eat airport vending-machine sandwiches. At least those are honest about being cold.

I ordered some breakfast they messed up 50% of my order. I go to support and ask for a full refund couse ain’t no way I’m paying for food I didn’t get. Customer support tries like crazy to not refund me and “silently” accuse me of lying even tho I have over 200+ with Wolt. I’ve only tried a handful of times where they have messed up my order and gotten a full refund for less. Immediately canceled my Wolt+ and will never use their services again.

Ordered food hours in advance, delivered at 05:00… rotten and inedible. I repeatedly asked to cancel as delivery times kept increasing, but was refused despite being told the food was “already made.”
Customer service (“Soso”) replied every 10 minutes with cold, AI-style messages and offered ZERO help. No empathy, no accountability. Being forced through an order you don’t want and then receiving rotten food is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.

This is my first EVER review of any business.
I bought items for over 1000Kr. from Wolt Supermarket Søborg but only got a third of my order delivered.
What followed has so far been over 3 hours of chatting back and forth with 2 different people, who can´t figure out what happened. Then I get told there were 2 different couriers who were supposed to deliver my order, but they don´t know what happened to the second courier.
Esentially their courier has run away with my order!
2 timer and 2 chat assistants later, still no resolution and they can´t do a simple addition to figure out how much they have to refubd me.
I shopped at wolt because I wanted quick delivery. I should never do this again and I am deleting the app.
Nemlig.com is much more reliable and there is actually a danish speaking person on the other end of the phone to help.
Terrible customer service.

A. Unauthorised Renewal & Lack of Notice
1. My annual Wolt+ subscription renewed automatically. I received absolutely no prior reminder or notification that this charge was impending.
2. This failure to notify violates Visa/Mastercard merchant rules for annual subscriptions, which mandate a reminder 7 to 30 days before billing. It also contravenes UOKiK guidelines regarding unfair market practices and tacit renewals.
B. Refusal of Refund & Escalation
3. I contacted support immediately (within minutes of the charge) to cancel and refund, as I have not used the service. The agent (Aleksandra) refused, citing "procedures", even though there was zero cost to Wolt to correct this.
4. I explicitly requested escalation to a manager multiple times. The agent refused this reasonable request, stating that "any other consultant will need to do the same way", effectively blocking my access to a resolution.
D. Conclusion
5. Wolt is happy to take your money silently but refuses to follow basic consumer protection laws. Avoid their subscription service (if you must use their service at all).

By slashing delivery pay to disgraceful levels, as low as 20Dkk per delivery (just ask any courier if you doubt it) Wolt effectively forced its experienced couriers out, pushing them to seek better paid jobs elsewhere. As a result, the platform is significantly staffed by inexperienced and desperate workers, many of whom are unaware of how much couriers were paid before 2023, when the company chosed to head in this laughable direction. Wolt's current decline is a direct consequence of that decision, and nothing else....Well, yes, also the shadow of legal issues hanging over them, something that wasn't quite a problem before, when decent payment was there. It's not only shameful but also screamingly shortsighted from a business perspective. No serious company would deliberately ruin its workforce quality and expect long-term success.
Predictably, Wolt will of course respond with sugar coated statements about "hard to believe" percentages of courier satisfaction, claims that collapse the moment you look at Trustpilot or simply
use their service.

I’ve used Wolt for 8 YEARS. Nearly 500 orders. This isn’t some throwaway account abusing the system - this is a long-term, loyal customer.
And today, Wolt casually informs me that my account is permanently locked.
No warning.
No explanation.
No evidence.
No appeal.
Just a soulless, copy-paste message saying the decision is “based on various factors” and that they refuse to comment further. Oh - and cherry on top - they also say they won’t refund an ongoing purchase. Incredible.
This isn’t customer service. This is corporate cowardice. Hiding behind vague “data protection” excuses while punishing customers without transparency is honestly disturbing. If I did something wrong, say it. If I didn’t, this is straight-up unacceptable.
After hundreds of orders and years of trust, Wolt decided I’m disposable. Loyalty means absolutely nothing to them. You can wake up one day, be locked out, lose your money, and be told to politely go find “an alternative.”
So here’s the warning:
If Wolt can do this to a customer with 8 years of history, they can do it to anyone.
I’m shocked, angry, and done. This platform has completely lost my trust - and clearly doesn’t deserve it.
One star. And even that feels generous.

When using the Wolt Denmark website, I see frequent glitches. The restaurant list does not load properly and it takes a long time to place an order. The quality of service needs to be improved.

Liars w.r.t. delivery times prior to ordering food. In the app, the delivery time is shown to be 25-35min. Once the order is placed, the delivery time changes to 40-50min and the real delivery time is 75min in the end.
You should be honest about the delivery times upfront instead of misleading with way to optimistic delivery times which you nowhere near can realize.
