Last week I had orderd somethjng on click and collect with argos in the app (ready the next day) and it was so I went on over to go pick it up since it was ready once i picked it up I went home open it (what i got was a phone btw) open it n tried to charge it or turn it on nothing happened the phone itself looked kind of odd however I trie not to think much of ot hoping it woukd turn on or maybe it wa faulty...so the next day I took it back in thinking oh they will refund me or replace it since it is not working....ye nope they are so useless the manager was useless...very poor customer service they also claimed siad phone was fake now to guarantee this i had someone actually check it someone at krcs. since i disputed the payment with my bank because argos wont refund or replace it and incase the bank ask for evidence I can show them the confirmation email explaining why the phone is not real in any way shape or form calling it a phone is diabolical since it probably has no actual parts in it..anyways don't buy phones from argos or do it's up to you but mine came from a warehouse in Leeds and the customer service is horrible they won't help you they will tell u to contact the manufacturers when they can do that themselves but no they will leave it to u to prove so make sure you do that or go into a shop that sells said phone and ask an employee to check it themselves often enough they will be way more usefu and then dispute the payment with your bank and you have a good chance getting your money back that way
Id also like to add an excuse for not refunding it or replacing it is because they don't know if you took it home and replaced it for a fake one...so if you wanted to be treated like a criminal I recomed. Argos the place to go its shocking

Ordered a bed to be delivered next day, had an email with 2 hour delivery time, did not arrive, had another email informing driver could not find address, phoned customer service about this, they apologised and said they could arrange delivery next day but I said I had ordered for a friends visit who needed the bed for that night, I asked could I pick it up from store but told this was not possible, my friend who is 79 and who came from quite a distance away had to sleep on the floor, my bed was delivered today by a very pleasent young driver who when I said it should have been yesterday told me I was one of several customers he had just delivered to who had not received there order the day before, I asked did he have any problem finding my address he said no he had no problems at all, this makes me think perhaps the driver the day before just could'nt be bothered.

As it was AI generated the reviewer stated that I was not entitled to leave a review because it was abusive
It was not
So do not trust any review on Argos as they are screened

Made a purchase in store and received a so called brand new item in a plain brown box with a Argos description label attached, Thinking it was just an outer box with the original box and contents inside, but no clearly been repackaged and made special journey to collect as only store showing stock. But expected to drive another 30 miles to get my money back or return to my local store for a conversion about an electrical item purchase, refund, replacement for an item they don’t have in stock.
So is the item faulty, a return, original packaging abriltarated so repackaged, refurbished.

Bit annoyed that whenever I buy something the next day I get a voucher to spend. This time it was 10% off over £199. The watch I bought was £239 so would have easily qualified. Will make this the last big item I buy
