Great customer service
Off to a rough start, but 100% satisfied in the end.
My package was marked as "dangerous goods", which was a bit weird for a synthesizer.
Staff was very friendly and understanding. I talked with Joyce through Whatsapp (UK). She sent a request to the warehouse to check my package, which was followed up within 24 hours. After some back and forth with Joyce, everything was solved in the end, and I did not have to pay an extra fee for shipping "dangerous goods".
They had to repackage my shipment for a 3 pound fee, this was not optional. I didn't really like it, but money well spent. I've never seen better packaging. The box felt solid like a rock, and was filled with all kinds of foam material to protect the product.
I will use this service again in the future! :)

Good company, my customer service rep Joyce was the best! She kept me updated and had my issues resolved in a timely manner.
Extremely disappointing and unfair pricing
Over the years, I have used the services of many shipping companies, so I know well how international shipping usually works and how much it costs.
Forward2Me charged €153 to ship a power station from Germany to the Czech Republic simply because the battery capacity exceeded 100 Wh. Other shipping companies charge an average of €15-40 to ship the same model. The difference is shocking and completely unjustified.
I even offered a simple and reasonable solution: I would create the shipping label myself, and they would simply hand the package over to the carrier. They refused without any real explanation. This makes it clear that the problem is not security or regulatory requirements, but their pricing policy.
This whole situation is like forcing me to overpay significantly, without any flexibility and without focusing on the customer. I expected professional service, but instead I got strict rules and prices that are completely out of line with the market.
I strongly recommend comparing prices with other freight forwarders before using Forward2Me. Personally, I will no longer use this service.

Had something shipped from Forward2me's USA address to my address in the UK and I must say, the whole process was an absolute breeze. Logging into your profile on their site allows you to follow your package's progress from start to finish. They even include photos. As for their prices, I knew I'd be paying a bit extra, which was fine by me. They give you a selection of quite a few delivery options with varying prices. I went for DHL and I couldn't be happier. Package arrived within 2 days.

Incorrect labelling of packages as "battery" and "dangerous goods" for which I am now having delays in shipping and delays in servicing my customer. The item is powered by usb cable and without any knowledge the company needs to update it's policies to reflect correct labels on products it is receiving for its customers. This is a complaint. Update 06/02026 my items have been delt with very quickly.

UPS Claim Paid, Refund Still Withheld by Forward2Me.
UPDATE (RESOLUTION):
Following my review, Forward2Me contacted me, I was informed that part of the communication gap was due to the original support agent being out of the office, and so communication resumed once another manager intervened.
I can now confirm that the full compensation has been paid, including both the value of the lost item, and the shipping cost, which was refunded separately a day afterwards after i had asked.
To be fair, part of the overall delay was due to the UPS investigation and claims process, which took time to complete before the refund could be issued. Once the claim was finalized the refund was eventually processed and paid.
While I appreciate that the matter is now resolved financially, I still believe communication during the refund process could have been clearer, particularly regarding timelines.
I have updated my rating to 4 stars, as the matter was ultimately resolved. I would consider using Forward2Me again, but I hope communication and transparency during claims can be improved in the future.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
After waiting for two months patiently a shipment handled through Forward2Me was declared lost by UPS after a full investigation. UPS approved the claim and paid the compensation to Forward2Me. From that point onward, the responsibility was entirely on Forward2Me to release the refund to me.
That is where the problem began.
Despite the claim being closed and paid:
Forward2Me failed to issue my refund
Repeated follow-ups were ignored, Emails went unanswered, There was no clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability,
Throughout this process, I have been nothing but polite, patient, and cordial in all communications with this company. Despite this, communication stopped entirely once the money was involved.
At this stage, Forward2Me is holding funds that do not belong to them, with no justification and no response. From a customer’s perspective, this feels indistinguishable from having money withheld without consent,
What makes this worse:
The loss was not disputed
The claim was approved
The money was already paid by UPS
Yet the customer is left chasing their own refund
This is not a logistics issue — it is a trust and ethics issue.
If you use Forward2Me, understand this clearly:
If something goes wrong and compensation is involved, you may have to fight to get your own money back.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to think twice.

I had a really great experience with forward2me. I love a makeup foundation that is only sold on a UK site that won’t ship to the US. I was able to easily purchase several bottles and have forward2me ship them to me. It was easy and so quick. I highly recommend.

Well packed, but otherwise frustrating service
I want to start by saying that when they repacked my shipment from eBay, they packed it very well, maybe even excessively (not even considering the item was purchased broken). My frustration is from details mentioned in other reviews, which seem to still exist, but now have a higher rating?
My biggest issue is the pricing. Initially the shipping estimate was fairly low, but throughout the process the price kept increasing. My package arrived at their warehouse and I received the free single photo, which was useless. It was blurry and only showed the shipping label and a part of the box. You have to pay extra for more photos. Then I was notified it had to be repacked for a $3 fee. In the details as to why it had to be repacked, it was blank. They gave a blurry photo and no explanation; I don't like this 'trust me bro' kind of service. Also, the shipping estimate before repacking was a range of $48-$52, but when it came time to pay to ship, now it's $61. To make it all even more frustrating, I find the website to be very confusing. I never seem to find what I'm looking for on the first or second try. This last point may be a 'me' problem, but I tried this service because they operate in countries I frequently buy from, and I never had these problems with Amazon, eBay, Buyee, or Stackry when using them to import goods. It feels like they just started operating, yet they've been around for years and have tons of reviews.
I would also like to note that Apple Pay is supposedly supported, but mine didn't work. Nothing happened. It just showed the payment was in progress for about 5 days. I messaged support and they responded in 2 days to tell me to just cancel the payment and try again, but I didn't try Apple Pay the second time. There were also delays at the U.S. shipping center, but there are warnings that it's still being set up as a new location, so maybe the payment and delays are due to that. I am giving them a pass on that.
In the end the price changing repeatedly, and no option to use my own discretion for repacking, leave me not wanting to use this service again. I had hopes that the other reviews were flukes, or that they were trying to ship something hazardous, but no, it was just a terrible experience. My item was purchased broken, so there was zero need to repack it, not that they ever provided any proof that the original packaging was poor anyway. In the end the shipping and fees (I'm not including customs duties in any comparisons) were comparable to the other services I use, just with more frustration.
