Link to MB
Normally very good but had a print out to link Nector to Marriott Bonvoy. ‘Scan the QR code to get started’ then it takes you MB site, then asked you to sign in 🤷♂️ put my password in but keeps saying it doesn’t recognise it.

I received an email asking if I had enjoyed spending my points in Whitechapel ( I am based in Manchester) so rang the number to report this, they said yes we can see its fraud as you used your card in your local store a few minutes before. Dont worry we will sort it out and you will get a replacement card a few days time. 4 weeks later and still no replacement card, despite them sending several. to log a complaint you can only write to them and they know most people wont bother, I will be today asking them to delete all my personal information from their systems.
Scam spam promotion, bad customer service
I used my nectar to a promotion, I started to receive 20 calls a day from dodge numbers.
I tried to contact the chat and the guy just rang out on me.
Terrible customer service, scam promotions, be aware.
Absolutely rubbish customer service
Absolutely rubbish customer service. Contacted Nectar via chat for missing points. No luck with anything, been told that now PDF are not accepted as proof of purchases. Been taken for a ride by the guy just because I have filed other missing points claims. Really bad service from Nectar these days!
i had an account
i had an account, which cannot be found, the card cannot be used anymore and creating a new one and linking it to relevant sites is difficult and takes very long time. it discourages you in using or getting any discounts. i will just stop going to the shops that allow it's use, i cannot speand my life on this.
Abrupt and useless customer service person
I have 2 nectar cards and wanted to transfer the points to just 1.
The chat helpline person Aniket Kanan was abrupt to the point of rudeness and after the link he sent me didn't work just cut me off and sent a link here. Hence this review.
MISSING NECTAR POINTS
I made a booking through Agoda in August last year that got me 3336 points, I have constantly chased these points, I keep getting told that they are escalating the issue but up until now after numerous emails and online chat I have not received them.
I will no longer shop at Sainsbury's or use their fuel!!!
Slow points
The points rewards system is really slow to build up compared to Tesco which builds up much quicker I have been going to Sainsbury's for 30 years but now find myself using Tesco more even though it means travelling. Little boy father because the rewards are better
Esso millfields Bilston
Well I have contact via customer support due to have nectar points stolen at mill fields esso petrol station Bilston.. and the customer support is absolutely shocking.. firstly the agent could not understand me and speak correct English. So this caused immediate problems.. then I was told even though it’s nectar and that’s what was stolen , I need to go contact esso and the petrol station myself ?? I asked what the points was used for or stolen and said can’t help ?? So what is the point of a help line then ?? These discusting corporations getting away with literally everything whilst robbing us blind.. avoid esso petrol stations at all costs as have scammers working there obviously.. millfields Bilston do not use As obviously some scams going on within
well trying to update a card takes…
well trying to update a card takes months
need to update card, so they say we will update you phone number..... telling me my card number is wrong that i recieved in the post today... it has taken them so called 4 cards before i actually recived the correct card... which they say is the wrong card ...give up
i've saved a fair bit using the Nectar…
i've saved a fair bit using the Nectar card in store and for fuel. However, the best deals were in the beginning, now 2 years ago. Once they've snared you as a potential regular customer the offers become less and less attractive . Just penny pinching now like a typical grocery store. Will visit other supermarkets again as Sainsburys is certainly not the cheapest nor the best.
Brought some items from Sainsbury's
Brought some items from Sainsbury's. I purchased pure coconut oil. For £3.50. Then discover that Asda had it for a better price. So will not be buying this product from Sainsbury's again.
Over 35k points missing
I have been chasing nectar for over 18 months now for 3x points they offered as a promotion for booking a holiday through TUI.
They've repeatedly fobbed me off, telling me its going to be credited to my account and then when I call again they start the whole process from the beginning again asking for evidence and screenshots. I also recently went to Japan and have 30k pending points from a promotion Nectar offered with Expedia for 8x points. Maximum of 120 days to appear in your account and shock 5 months on they still haven't been credited to my account either.
Nectar are a total disgrace, blatant breach of contract, false advertising and taking advantage of customers.
I have found the nectar card works well…
I have found the nectar card works well in store. I've been using it in Esso garages and discovered if you use qr code on the app, points not being added but us the bar code on your card and points are added. I've lost out on many points because this was not made clear
If I could give MINUS stars I would!
Significant purchases, 3 in total, all tracked but points never paid. Chat help is useless. Comprehension poor and zero action. Raised a formal complaint via resolver….dreadful from nectar….just asked for same info over and over again and did NOTHING. Alls we want as customers is the points awarded for purchases made…..which is the deal when you have a nectar card ……feels like a huge scam. Sainsburys should be ashamed to be associated really.
With nothing else better to do…
With nothing else better to do yesterday afternoon I thought I might get the Nectar app for my card.
Probably the most difficult procedure I have ever embarked upon. Pages and Pages, really, of terms and conditions that no sane person would properly read or even understand.
I ticked the box and was given a verification code on an email. so far so good (or not).
So I tried to log-in and was told that a verification code would be sent to my phone. I didn't arrive and I know why, I put a wrong digit for my number. So attempted to change it by logging in to Nectar.com which is what FAQ said to do to change details.
What did they do? "we've sent a verification code to...." The number I wish to change, brilliant.
Nectar Canvas is system automated harassment,,,,,
Nectar Canvas is system automated harassment, I did a few surveys for peanuts, and tried and tried and tried and tried more surveys yet I did not meet the qualifying criteria, and it was a total waste of time. They relentlessly bombard you with unsolicited e-mails inviting you to do more surveys, this is system automated harassment! So glad I dumped them, total waste of time. DO NOT BOTHER.
Nectar points with TUI never arrived
Fully paid for a TUI holiday in May 2025 and still haven't received my Nectar points. They confirmed I completed the transaction correctly and I had an email to say points arriving but none did. Contacted Nectar many times via email and 'X' but always get the same response that it's being investigated. Why can't Nectar just get this process right.
Do not bother doesn’t work
Does not work is very complicated and help is pointless s
somewhat poor sad to say
somewhat poor sad to say, i have been with nectar pretty much since they started and over the years they have been good however a big gripe with them recently unable to use the points in Sainsburys so reached out to them few weeks ago expecting pleasant service and asked for my password well who remembers a pass word from almost 30 years ago, you can't even get talking on a phone to a human being its all robot rubbish, sent a complaint e-mail three weeks ago and no response mean heck its not as if i'm trying to purchase government trade secrets or trying to commit espionage its a points card for grocery shopping trying to find out why unable to spend my point in a shop , so i am not very happy
