But all you have done is a BIG NOTHING. You email me straight back saying your decision is final.
TAKE NOTE who reads these reviews that the people replying saying they will investigate are SCAMMING you, making you think they sort there complaints out.
WELL THEY DONT.All they do is lie to make you believe they are a good company.
AVOID this SCAMMING company.

Avoid if you don't want to be ripped off

Another extremely disappointing experience with this company.

On 2 February 2026 I updated my policy after purchasing a new car. I was charged an additional premium of £46.38 plus a £25 administration fee. While I was unhappy about the admin charge — as my previous insurer never applied one — I reluctantly agreed to proceed.

Today, I simply added my private registration plate, which was already on retention. For this minor amendment, I have now been charged a further £50 premium increase and another £25 administration fee.
In total, I have paid approximately £150 just to move my insurance onto my new vehicle and update the registration number. This makes no sense. It is the same car, same engine, same driver, same risk — the only change is the registration plate.
I have made similar amendments with other insurers in the past and have never been charged anything close to this, often nothing at all.

With my policy due for renewal in just two months, this experience has ensured I will not be renewing. This level of charging for basic administrative changes feels excessive and unjustified.

Avoid these at all cost

Dont bother with Zenith

Probably the worst car insurance company to ever deal with!! My daughter lost a full year no claims discount.

My daughter (21years) HAD to cancel her insurance policy with Zenith, due to the current underwriters not insuring her new car. I have never heard anything like it in my 40yrs of driving. She lost (almost) a full years no claims discount. She had two more payments to make !! She now is back to 3 instead of 4ys. At 21 every year counts cost wise. She would have even been liable to cancellation fees, even though SHE WASN'T the one cancelling the policy. However after expressing my complete incredulation that that was the case, they waived the fee. Thank you to Ashton for his help. Although Zenith did lose a customer now and in the future. Your underwriters are questionable to say the least.
