A book that was described as in “very good condition” arrived in awful condition and completely unprotected, other than a thin plastic envelope, from any further damage in transit. It was cheap to buy but in such terrible condition I would not handle it to read. I was tempted to give one star, because I couldn’t give none. However, I'm trying to be fair - contact with customer services has a resulted in another copy of the same book being sent out. I really don’t know what to expect.

Made a booking for a very popular and well known restaurant on the Côte d’Azur in France, months ahead of a trip to celebrate my husband’s very special birthday. The booking was for a date during which France goes on holiday. Just three days before the birthday, and whilst on holiday, I received a message from TheFork to say that the reservation could not be honoured. I assumed that there were no longer any tables available and tried to book elsewhere, without joy. My son took over from the UK because I was so upset. He was able to book the original restaurant with no problem. The forward planning for a special day was turned into a very stressful experience. I will not use the booking agency again and did not use them originally for the purpose of gaining any discount.

Fast delivery after great advice. Primer made such a difference to new render and paint went on a dream. Two coats of colour and it looks perfect. Fingers crossed now that it stands the test of time that the pros rave about!

If you’re going to buy ready made cocktails NIO are definitely the ones to buy! Not only are they authentic to tradition; some new to taste and always a good strength (above and beyond others). Delivery is superbly fast and for just £1 extra - express. Customer Service response is absolutely on top of it! Well done NIO - back for more soon. I might add - in case anyone thinks it - I have no connection with NIO or its employees whatsoever. I just enjoy their cocktails.
