Customer service updated !

Customer service ? , I'm yet to see it ! Went to them because of good reviews ,they do not answer emails so don't waste your time trying .
If you phone you will get the message which I'm sure you will guess ....we are experiencing unusually high call volumes at the present ...blah ..blah .
Is it any wonder when emails are ignored ...
I came from Eon next should have stayed there .
Update!
Since I wrote this review I have been assured an engineer will come out to me and change the gas meter so I will hold on to this review untill it's done but I have to say the person I spoke to was courteous and couldn't apologise enough so things are looking better !
Rating moved up one star ! UPDATE!
Since this review octopus energy have now put everything right and remained professional and courteous in communications .
I now believe they are probably the best out there ,well done Octopus and thank you for putting things right !

Having provided you with the remote commissioning line, who will go through the steps and also be able to advise on the lead time for a site visit if we require to attend.

The best company !

When my 3d printer cooling fan packed up a quick message to123-3d resulted in a replacement delivered to me the following day under warranty !
Thank you so much it's so nice to deal with a company that actually care after they have your money !!

Apologies for the templated response. We’ve had a number of similar reviews sharing concerns about using a bank card during the sign-up process, so in the interests of spending more time improving the product and less time trying to think of different ways to say the same thing it felt sensible to write one comprehensive update on this topic.

Key points:
1. It’s obvious from the reviews here that our use of a bank card during sign-up is the source of concern for some prospective users. We understand, we’re consumers too and so have tried hard to provide sensible explanations in previous responses about why we’ve done it this way.

2. However we’re not deaf to the complaints and thank everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts. We are a small, passionate, purpose-led team whose mission is to help UK households to decarbonise more quickly by analysing their energy data and then helping them to use less. It’s very likely that the reviews on here are stopping at least some households from signing up and that’s a real shame as Loop is a great solution for any household with a smart meter wanting to get to grips with their energy use, especially during this cost of living crisis.

It's therefore on us to react to this feedback as we want as many households as possible to use Loop. We will investigate how we can make this part of the sign-up process better and then prioritise that alongside other product improvements. As we’re a small team we can’t do everything we want to as quickly as we’d like to, so we really appreciate your patience whilst we look into how and when we can make this better.

Valuation ?

we visited the cheetham hill branch today after filling in the very basic valuation form ,
I knew the alloy wheels needing a bit of work but only minor damage not a total refurb also as the car is 8 years old it had a few stonechips 2 to be exact plus a minor scuff under the front end which you had to lie down to see,
The car was otherwise very tydy with no marks to the interior and a nice low mileage of 32750 service history 4 good tyres and no smoke from the exhaust we decided we would except £600 off the online vaulation .
We were advised that the car was no less then £1120 below the valuation , a phone call to whoever brought it up by a couple of hundred pounds but we felt we were being "had" at this point so we left.
Before you go to the branch unless your car is in pristine showroom condition the price offered is not even a ballpark figure more of an Adlantic ocean ,
to conclude I am sure this service offered will be of use to some but if your car is of the necessary condition to get the offer price which is A1 showroom pristine.... why on earth are you selling it ..... ? !

july update

well here we are at the beginning of June, plug plants I bought in march there are 8 still struggling on , these have a maximum of 2 leaves small than a 1 pence so if they do grow any bigger before first frost I might see a flower or 2 , I wont be holding my breath.
plugs plants I bought from a company on ebay are planted out and starting to flower just as a comparison .
I've emailed customer services ? on a number of occasions as as a result of my last post I was promised some replacements, guess what ,no replacements no answer to emails.
I cant understand why they can get away with selling such begonias as they clearly are too young when sent out and cannot stand the stress of transportation !
On a different note I bought a mix of bedding plants from their Ebay outlet and they are all growing well so not everything is bad !!.
So to conclude I will not be buying begonias again maybe bedding plugs ., oh I forgot was promised a refund for some begonia ( again !) bulbs that just did nothing but that is like the refund ,.... nothing

July update
I did get 15 garden ready begonias from T&M as compensation and did get my refund so thank you for this maybe I'll give you another go next year !! 😊

here we go again !

9here we go again !
after last years fiasco I thought they would get their act together by now but no ! , an order of begonia tubers were really small and to make things worse didnt grow at all , my order for Begonia plugs were no better only part of my order recieved and were so dry I doubt if any will recover, best of it is I paid for maxicrop treatment , God knows what that is supposed to be .
I've checked the plugs today and 6 out of 24 have died others look as they may grow but time will tell.
The second order of Begonias never arrived , Thomson and Morgan claimed lost in post .. strange I never got a dispatch email as is normally the case .
I am really disappointed with you again and thought the computer system you kept claiming was the problem last spring had been resolved by now .
I think this is the final straw for this company and advise others to think twice before purchase .

We have had unprecedented demand at the busiest time of year for us and some orders are taking much longer than they should in the despatch process. This is very disappointing for our customers and for us. Plants leave us in perfect condition. If they're held up at any stage they will go past their best and not survive. I'm very sorry.

terrible company

only half my order recieved which over half of the begonia plugs have since died now well overdue on the second promise date I too waited over 15 mins then got cut off ! .I have foolishly ordered again from them but dont expect anything to arrive and even if they do will probably die like the begonias .I bought using PayPal so will be lodging a request for refund through them update

this company did reorder plants for me and just recieved garden ready plants in place of the failed ones , so I think they are really trying to put things right !

I dont know why people are so easily pleased !

I dont know why people are so easily pleased but let me tell you my experience with servicing stop.
I booked in my 2 year old Clio after reading reviews and the fact that they stick to the manufactures schedule also using genuine parts for the make .
My car went nearly an hour late to a garage some 25 miles away although they turned up with a car loader they left it on the road and drove my car to the garage ? !
I received a call from Gary who promptly informed me that my car needs brake fluid renew also a flush of the fuel system which bumped up th price from £84 to £260 !!
I refused and told him to stick to the manufacturers schedule , its up to you he says , I say I Know !.
I checked the content of the B service with Renault and none of the extra work was due, the brake fluid was on next years and as regards to the fuel system they didn't know what he was talking about !.
The car was returned some 8 hours later and after they had gone i checked my car so see what condition it had been returned in , first; some 36 miles on the clock , next the service indicator had not been reset , next there was oil all over the battery and engine bay next th antiperforation check had not been done and on receipt of the invoice no part nos or oil type !
after many emails and phone calls the garage came back and reset the service indicator , or at least that was what he was trying to do ,I ended up getting the method up on my laptop and telling him how to do it !
I have give up with trying to get an itemised invoice .
If this review helps just one person not to get "done over " then its been worth it .
