Top quality clothing

Superdry clothes are top quality. Any clothing that I've purchased in the past have lasted a long time. I visited the store in Liverpool, which had a wealth of range and stock, well presented, and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Review of loveit coverit

Stepped up when a problem arose

I ensured my phone with loveit coverit, and having recently developed a fault and having contacted loveit coverit and paid the insurance excess fee, I received a next-day delivery, postage label. I posted my phone and heard nothing for 5 days, despite attempting to contact them on two occasions.

I raised a complaint and within 24hrs, all had been resolved, with a replacement phone on the way. The true mark of a company is how they deal with a problem when it occurs, and loveit coverit stepped up to the plate admirably. Thank you, Jordan!

Minus 1 star because their claims allocation structure is flawed. In my case, my dedicated claims advisor was on annual leave, which meant that I wasn't kept informed of the delay and my follow-up attempts remained unanswered. Change that and I'll award 5 stars.

Great system - when boxes are available

I have three InPost drop points within easy reach of my home, which is great. The system is digital, intuitive and easy to use, and not having to apply a postage label to parcels makes it even easier.

Where the model falls down is the finite number of drop boxes available at any given drop point. On a few occasions, I've arrived at a drop point and encountered zero availability of drop boxes.

4 stars for ease of use, keeping things digital and the availability of drop points but minus 1 star for limited drop boxes. As the postage method gets more popular, and the availability of drop boxes becomes less, InPost will naturally become a victim of its own success. Often, there's no physical space to expand the number of drop boxes at a drop point, however this may be alleviated in the future with more drop points.

Quick, easy and welcoming

Quick, easy to book and with a range of centres near me, I attended the Vista Health office in Liverpool City Centre for a knee MRI scan early one Saturday afternoon. The office was spotless, the staff polite and welcoming (thank you, Jennicel & Benedict) and the whole process was simple and easy. Jennicel asked me what style of music I wanted to hear on a set of headphones during the scan - MRI machines are very noisy. The whole process was easy, comfortable and relaxed. Thank you guys.

Delivery & communications are a complete nonsense

This is a mixed review. I ordered a mattress from DBW on Sat, 3rd May 2025 with an advertised delivery date of 4-7 working days. When the proposed date came through, it was for a date that was 11 working days later. On the day of delivery, no-one turned up. I tried calling Zenith Delivery Network (their sister company) as well as DBW - no response from either across the whole day...both phonelines cut off after 5 mins in the call queue. That was Sat, 17th May and I was convinced that I'd been scammed by DBW, whom I discovered are a re-named former bed company, closed down for fraud, now registered as IYR Trading Ltd.

I rang twice on Mon 19th May and out of the radio silence that afternoon, a text msg arrived from 'Falcon2Man' delivery service stating that the mattress would be delivered the next day between 7am and 10am. It arrived at 7:05am. I heard nothing from DBW, not then nor since.

The mattress is very good value for money, well constructed & finished but both delivery and communications from DBW are abysmal.

Excellent bar the courier

My experience with Cosmetify was excellent. I ordered and my purchase was delivered within 48hrs. I deducted 1 star because the courier they used (Evri) threw the package over the back gate - (1) I was at home at the time and no-one rang the doorbell, and (2) it was glass bottle of perfume. Thankfully, it didn't smash when it landed from its 6-foot drop.

AVOID THIS GANG OF THIEVES

Squaretrade are a GANG OF THIEVES. I claimed a replacement phone on a policy. They instructed me to swap old for new with their courier, which I did, but 3 weeks later, they stole almost £500 from my bank account, claiming they'd never received the old phone. I had to fight to get my money back, reporting them for corporate fraud. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Discoloured Eyes

Had a photo book printed recently but the finished product had two pages with discoloured eyes. I raised it, two photos were replaced and the book re-printed. Same problem. The original photos don't have any discolouration, nor do the uploads and anti red-eye was not used at any point. Disappointed.

Review of Talk Home Mobile

Talk Home Mobile are phenomenal

I just joined Talk Home Mobile, having left ID Mobile for it. ID were abysmal and since switching to THM, the experience has been phenomenal - what a difference! I chose the Starter Welcome Pack, which is 1p per month for 3 months (REALLY!!!!) and a fiver p/m after that. That's 4 GB p/m + unlimited calls + unlimited SMS (+ 2 GB roaming per month). Jeez, you can't get cheaper than that, and because they're a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), they use the EE Network, voted best network for the last TEN YEARS!!!! I had an initial issue with receiving data but 'Sid' on an online chat resolved it in 2 minutes. If you're looking to swap, you can do no wrong with THM.

An easy transaction to complete and easy to get the gig tickets that I wanted. One star deducted because the See Tickets app has two logins, one to view See Tickets gigs you've booked, and one for Gigs and Tours gigs you've booked - even though they're part of the same group.

Cheapest on the high street & free delivery!

Having done some price research online, I found Currys to be as competitive as other high street retailers, in some instances cheaper. The TV that I wanted was in stock, was heavily discounted and came with free delivery - what's not to like! I availed of a further 5% discount through a third party company and could get no cheaper anywhere. Delivery was bang on time and I enjoyed the fruits of my new TV that weekend. Well done, Currys, for a very satisfactory shopping experience.

A near faultless experience

After a couple of initial communication issues with Purplebricks centrally (various call centre staff calling asking me for the same information three times), once I'd been put in contact with a local agent (Mr. James Garland), things were fantastic. James was brilliant...attentive, respectful, prompt, turned up when he said he would, arranged everything efficiently and in a timely manner, and through his own contacts, organised property photos, viewings, keys, etc.

With the sale being leasehold, it was a little more complex than freehold but through James's hard work and his recommended photographer, viewings agent & solicitor, the whole sale experience felt effortless, which is what we wanted - Thank you James, Kate, Hayley and Craig!

I wholly recommend Purplebricks.

A & B delivered our wooden fencing panels on time and in perfect condition. They're excellent quality, heavy duty, pressure treated, colour dipped and without doubt, the best value for money around. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. The next time that I need wooden fencing items of any description, I know where I'll be going! Well done, A & B.

Tracking is hit and miss.

The tracking of purchases is hit and miss, more often hit than miss but when Quidco doesn't track a purchase, they're an absolute pain in the backside to deal with and take forever to process a cashback claim. Your choice...I'm on the fence.

[Response to Quidco]: That's my point. You're useless to deal with when tracking fails. I'm an I.T. professional, regularly clear the cache, have cookies enabled, use single browser sessions, have the latest browser installed, etc., etc. and STILL tracking is hit and miss. Dealing with you when it fails is truly awful.

We do see that half the retailers we offer track within 1 hour of a purchase and if they don't track, a claim can be made to ensure they track in so you don't miss out!
