this post is going around again and since writing it i kinda disagree- my premise is still right. i dont care about my validity but i care about direct action. fuck my civil rights i want a revolution. idgaf about cishetace guys, is he showing up to the union meeting? idgaf about the “goldstar” lesbian, is she actively making bi women and trans women and lesbian survivors feel unsafe in the community? idgaf about the tall buff nonbinary transfem who doesnt want to take estrogen, are they going to be at the protest on sunday? can you have my back? i have yours. lets get this work done.

Specifically for someone who really struggles with internalised homophobia and like the shame of my sexuality that comes with that- I'm so scared to go but I don't want to chicken out this year at the same time
ive never been to pride so idk. just go and have fun. try not to hate yourself. you just gotta do it and come out the other side
