ALTi had a beautiful realization today, which is “oh my god i can put MaX in Friday Night Funkin”. xe’s a musician! xe’s a dorky 19 year old punk! xe’s a vocal mimic! xer whole deal is literally centered around the consequences of a reality-altering microphone! maybe xe landed in Philadelphia after Blaseball’s ending dumped everybody out of the Black Hole(Black Hole), i dunno.
gameplay-wise, xer starter gimmick would be copying chromatics like Nikku from Hotline 024 and mixing in bits from other songs, but on higher difficulties xe’d feedback with BF mid-song to swap sides with him (or worse, feedback the playfields so the characters are in the same position but BF’s arrows are on MaX’s side of the screen and vice versa. which sounds like a nightmare.)
