Congratulations to our new reigning queens of Yuri!!! Whichever ship they have fought against, they left a field of bloodshed in their wake. From round 1 they have proven their worth, over and over.
Thank you to the strong RGU fans who fought so hard and passionate for these two to be crowned. Thank you too, of course, to everyone else who participated this year, it was truly entertaining.
I wish you all a happy new Yuri. -🐶
This result should surprise absolutely no one. Utenanthy showed a dominating run through every round, decisively crushing every ship that came in front of it with notes full of “i love this ship but come on its utena” and “we had a good run but were losing to utena lol”. Even Madohomu, who had just as good of a run, ultimately faltered to the undisputed goat of yuri pairings.
Thank you everyone for playing our fun little game for 4 years now, and heres to many more filled with gay shipping! -😺
ICE fucking abandoned the scene in a Minneapolis neighborhood and left their battle plans and designs on the city, fake license plates, and challenge tokens which they reward themselves for arrests. Looney Tunes shit.
“Demonstrators investigating the abandoned ICE vehicles apparently retrieved these “challenge coins” that ICE mercenaries receive when they kidnap people. This “coin” is decorated with a skull wearing a crown. ICE mercenaries serve king death.”
hello whta the everloving fuck is this are ICE just cult members who believe themselves to be some kinda assassin creed shit?
ok this is gonna sound insane but when i was in high school we made a drink that we called a “fuck you” which was black coffee, crushed up adderall, and fireball whiskey.
The fact that young people make it past their late teens/early twenties is a miracle

Lots of people rightfully have mixed feelings about NATO, and they’ve probably seen different terminology and articles thrown about over the past few years following Sweden and Finland joining.
But it’s become pretty clear over the last few weeks that a lot of people don’t know what Article 5 is, and why the US following through on threats to annex Greenland is the end of NATO.
Article 5 can be called by any state under threat, and is considered as ‘An attack on one, is an attack on all’. It’s the cornerstone of NATO as an alliance, and calls on other countries in the alliance to take supportive action, militarily or otherwise.
For Americans, the reason why the reaction from Europe has been so aggressive is because Article 5 has only ever been triggered once, and it was to aid the United States after 9/11 leading to the invasion of Afghanistan.
CAVEAT TIME. Tumblr’s favourite game because if I don’t mention it here, someone uses it as gotcha despite being a different point - Yes, the prolonged invasion of Afghanistan was a clusterfuck. It achieved very little, destabilised the region and was responsible for tens of thousands of civilian deaths caused by direct war, and estimated 430,000 indirect deaths caused by infrastructure collapse and disease.
End of Caveat time.
Regarding the recent threats on Greenland, whether right or wrong - there’s a strong feeling that NATO allies ‘answered the call’ of the United States when it asked for it. Not just in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 but in the prolonged conflict in the aftermath.
So chest-puffing from some Americans about how ‘We can totally take on NATO, Your nothing without us etc’ is generally viewed as spitting in the face of your allies because the US is the only country that NATO has initiated article 5 over.
Me: So, it’ll never happen, but a crossover wherein Ena: Dream BBQ applies for a job interview with Prospera Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury would be ~amazing~
ALT
So, from the most basic angle, both characters are established as morally dubious businesswomen with backgrounds that their peers find suspicious, and who are perfectly willing to betray their respective bosses in pursuit of their own goals.
While a prospective sequel to Dream BBQ might not follow up on these, Ena is also associated with war (via some visions at the start of the game and when talking to the capsule vending guy, as well as her choice of hat) and motherhood (the quest to create life in the form of the Human Board), so thematically speaking, Ena and Prospera have more than a few similarities approached from radically different perspectives.
There’s also a prominence placed on forgiveness with both characters, with Prospera being forgiven by her daughter when the latter is in a momentary state that approaches godlike, and Ena being explicity unforgiven by a divine figure.
Their goals, while different, also play off in an interesting way; there’s a fan hypothesis that Ena’s reality might be some sort of digital afterlife, which, if true, would obviously be of great interest to Prospera. As for Ena, her struggle between feeling a need to meet expectations of her current status vs. doing what she really wants to do, is not dissimilar from Suletta’s struggles, which I think Prospera, who’s generally good at reading people, would pick up on and might find even more uncanny than the dream logic perspective Ena espouses.
And lastly, I just think it would be entertaining to watch characters who are two-faced in very different ways struggle to interact with each other - it’d be neat.
