Disney Speedstorm is a kart racing game developed by Gameloft Barcelona and published by Gameloft. It features various Disney and Pixar characters racing vehicles on tracks themed after their franchises' worlds.
It was released in early access on April 18, 2023 alongside pay-for Founder's Packs. It became free-to-play as of the full release on September 28, 2023.
Seasons include all-new content; four to five Racers from a Disney or Pixar film or franchise, an environment based on that film or franchise, a Season Tour, and mid-season unlockable bonus Racers unaffiliated with the season's themed film or franchise. Several new Crew Members are released approximately every two months.

Monetization
| Type | Notes |
|---|---|
| Free-to-play | Players can access a significant portion of the game content without paying. Local Freeplay, offline single-player, local multiplayer, Private Track, and private online multiplayer all allow players to play as every Racer on any track, regardless whether or not they've unlocked it. |
| Subscription | Golden Passes have a premium tier that unlocks more items, including Racers that are otherwise only available through that tier during their franchise's season. |
Microtransactions
| Type | Notes |
|---|---|
| Boost | There are purchasable packs that give players Upgrade Parts to level up Racers, and Shards to unlock Racers and Crew Members or increase their star ratings. |
| Cosmetic | Certain customization items (which include racing suits, victory animations, kart colors and liveries, kart wings/spoilers, kart wheels, and license plates) can be purchased with Tokens, usually for a period of time. |
| Currency | Tokens are the premium currency used to to buy upgrades, customization items, or Season Coins. Tokens can be earned through Ranked Multiplayer. Season Coins are used to buy items in the shop or open Universal Boxes for Racer and Crew Member shards. They are earned through a daily limited event, completing tiers in the Golden Pass, through boxes in the Season Tour, or from duplicate exchanges. Season Coins last through the end of a season, after which excess Season Coins are automatically converted into Tokens. Multiplayer Coins can only be earned though rewards from Ranked Multiplayer ratings or completing certain limited leaderboard events at a higher rating. They are used to unlock either specific and costly cosmetics or as a random choice, including avatars and mottos for the player's profile, through the cheaper Multiplayer Box. |
| Finite spend | Each of the four packs of Season Coins can be purchased with Tokens up to three times each season, effectively allowing players a maximum of 1,770,000 paid-for Season Coins each season for a total 28,500 Tokens. |
| Free-to-grind | Core gameplay does not require purchases to access. Certain limited events require specific Racers or a Racer from a specific franchise to unlock or earn items. |
| Infinite spend | There are no limits on the amount of Tokens that can be purchased. |
| Loot box | Purchasing Season Boxes unlocks random Racer and Crew Member Shards for a season's focused franchise. Purchasing Universal Boxes unlock such Shards among all previously-released franchises. |
| Time-limited | Some cosmetic items or Unlock Packs are sold for a limited time with discounts. |
| Unlock | There are Shard packs that are purchasable with Tokens which allow players to unlock Racers and Crew Members they haven't earned enough Shards for. Otherwise, players will have to rely on earning Shards through Regulated Multiplayer or buying shop items with Season Coins (which can also be purchased with Tokens). |

Color blind players have sent notice to Gameloft that the color choices can be impossible to differentiate. (There are a couple differentiating elements to indicate the current colors, however; the text of the Racer's current HUD color status is black when the Racer is green and white and they're purple. Also, green skill boxes show Arbee with a simple happy smile, while purple skill boxes show Arbee with a more impish and devilish smile.) | ||
