Widescreen resolution

Edit Main.cfg and hex-edit Main.pro[4]
  1. Open <path-to-game>\data\save\Main.cfg with a text editor.
  2. Under [VIDEO], change the Resolution= line to the desired resolution.
  3. To fix the main menu resolution, open Main.pro with a hex editor such as HxD.
  4. Press Ctrl+F and set datatype to Hex-values.
  5. Search for C7 44 24 2C 20 03 00 00 C7 44 24 30 58 02 00 00 and BA 20 03 00 00 B9 58 02 00 00.
  6. Highlight 20 03 00 00 and replace the value in the UInt32 row with the desired width (it's on the Data inspector tab in the right side).
  7. Highlight 58 02 00 00 and repeat the same as the previous step, but this time for height.
  8. Save the file.

Notes

Vert- 3D image compared to 4:3. Use the FOV fix to address it.
Going in the options menu reverts the change done in <path-to-game>\data\save\Main.cfg.
