God of War Ragnarök is a singleplayer action game primary developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment via its PlayStation Publishing brand. It is part of the God of War series and a sequel to the 2018 game.

Originally released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on November 9, 2022, it was ported to PC by Jetpack Interactive and released on September 19, 2024. The PC version comes with the Valhalla DLC integrated in it.[1]

  1. Download Windows Game Patches.
  2. Copy the contents of !ASI_Loader_x64 and GoWR.NoTAA to <path-to-game>.
  3. Rename dinput8.dll to winmm.dll.
  4. Run the game to create GoWR.NoTAA.ini, which can be used to disable TAA, static vignette, and depth of field.

Issues fixed

Game only outputs surround sound

Turn off Windows Sonic for Headphones[10]
  1. Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound.
  2. Select a playback device under Output devices.
  3. In device Properties, set Spatial sound to Off.

Vsync setting shows wrong values

In-game Vsync might display odd values such as 74.971 Hz, 24 Hz, 12 Hz, etc.
