Shim d3d8 to Vulkan with dxvk.[3]
  1. Download dxvk.
  2. Extract the release archive and copy d3d8.dll and d3d9.dll from the x32 folder to the install folder for each episode.
Please note that the dxvk d3d9.dll is also needed, even if the game relies on D3D8 for rendering.
Shim d3d8 to d3d9 with d3d8to9.[4]
  1. Download d3d8to9.
  2. Copy the downloaded d3d8.dll to the install folder for each episode.
Only use this if the above d8vk option does not work.
