Widescreen resolution

Hex edit settings.dat[1]
  1. Run the game at least once.
  2. Choose the 800x600 resolution in the video options.
  3. Close the game.
  4. Open settings.dat in a hex editor like HxD.
  5. Search for 20 03 00 00 58 02 00 00.
  6. Highlight 20 03 00 00 and go to the Data inspector tab in the right side.
  7. Change the value in the UInt32 row to the desired width.
  8. Do the same for the 58 02 00 00 value, but for the height instead.

Notes

Vert- gameplay by default. Use the FOV fix for an uncropped Hor+ image.
Main menu is still locked to 800x600.
