DVD Logo Screensaver - now on Game Boy - v2!
Relive the glory days of boring meeting rooms of yesteryear with
the DVD logo Screensaver - now for Game Boy!
You'll be the envy of everyone in your cubicle pod!*
Flash it on a cart, or experience the nostalgia in your favorite emulator!
Version 2.0 Update!
Added some additional features:
- Redid the setup of the bouncing logo, now it uses the player actor instead of a projectile, and includes position-based logic to keep it bouncing infinitely
- This addition can be used as the base of an Arkanoid or Brick-Breaker-like type game's logic!
- Added a new scene with a moving grid system based on the .gif representing the project that showcases the power of using Mico27's Submapping EX Plugin
- This technique could be used for advanced visual effects or cutscenes!
What's in the .zip file?
Included in the Version 2.0 project files:
- A complete GB Studio project with everything you need to inspect how the two DVD logo scenes are set up.
- A rom build of the DVD logo screensaver.
- A .pocket build of the DVD logo screensaver.
What can I use this project for?
All the assets available in the project are free to use, excluding those relating to or containing non-fungible tokens ("NFT") or blockchain-related projects. It may not be used with artificial intelligence or machine learning projects. You can modify it to suit your needs.
