I wanted to make a better post about this statue but I didn’t really had time so I’m reblogging this just to say that… DAMN- it was wonderful. The statue was ALONE in the room, just His head and a video in the background (as you can see from the photo) of a reconstruction of the statue’s head who spoke (IN RHYME) about Lord Apollo’s myths.

So you can imagine me, entering the room completely clueless about what was inside, talking to my friend that KNEW AND TOOK ME THERE ON PROPOSE. I swear on everything that I was about to have a heart attack, didn’t know if I wanted to cry or something else. I just stood there, brain empty, just tears in my eyes and my heart full of love and gratitude 🙏🏻😭💕

Then the reconstruction in the video started to speak and I seriously said “DAMN IT’S SPEAKING” (it was hilarious)

People overuse terms like “Helpol” and “Hellenic Polytheism” which are labels to describe a specific religion focused on making burnt sacrifices to the Olympian gods in ritual with one’s entire household. The people who sit in their rooms alone claiming the gods talk to them through tarot are just doing Wicca lite, not Hellenic Polytheism.

I’ve answered disagree, for obvious reasons, but I would like to add that this person (and the people that agree w them) are really uniformed both on modern paganism and on “original” paganism.

As we know (and I fucking know that cause is literally what I study in uni), archaeology can confirm that burnt sacrifices and “rituals with one’s entire household” weren’t the only way to honor the gods. They had a LOT of different rituals to make offerings and not every of them were made from a group of people, and not every of them were burnt. Not to count the mystery cults (that nowadays can be considered sects = illegal) and the rituals they did at the temples were, obviously, was the whole community to participate not only the single household (and it seams really difficult to me to involve a whole community nowadays to make public offering to the gods) so… yes… if we want to follow the anonymous reasoning, nobody is a “real” hellenic polytheist 💀🙏🏻

Living in a city linked to the folklore of witches is TIRING. To see my religion, my spirituality, used to make a couple of euros, making everyone believe that being a witch / a pagan is something within everyone’s reach, that everything is enough to be one, is really disturbing. It is something that really stress you because, after those two days of fair, everyone returns to their lives as a bigoted Christian and remains you, a true witch / pagan, and a group of fake spirituals / Wiccan who believe they know more than you about anything else, even on Gods who do not worship (because of course they are Christian “witches”)

I’m not sure about that, but I suppose that if you block someone on your first blog then they’ll be blocked even on the other blogs. But to be sure, open his blog from the notification of one of his interactions with your blog (likes, reblogs, etc) and then block him.

Unfortunately, you can’t do much for reblogs. He reblogged one of my posts before I blocked him and, as far as I know, the reblog stayed in his feed.

⚠️If this person try to reach you please block him. I don’t really know what his problems are but basically he claims to be Lord Apollo’s reincarnation (or smth like that, not really sure on what he claims to be). If he finds your post in which you talk about Lord Apollo, infact he’ll starts to interact w you, trying to convince you that he’s Lord Apollo. I really hope that he’s not serious about that but I’ve read online that he has some sort of delusion. In the beginning he was almost chill, like- you’ve could just ignore him, but now he’s becoming really persistent and almost dangerous. As I was saying before, in some of his posts he said that he is Lord Apollo (in a Jesus’s kind of way: he came here to help us humans) but other times he says that he is His reincarnation (he says also that he is Alexander’s the Great’s reincarnation, and of some other people idk).

Please be sure to be safe and to avoid him, if you want to prevent pls block him and, for the love of the gods, don’t try to be a hero. You can’t help him, he needs professional help and you can’t offer it online.
