Long hair wyll? Ponytail? Or just hairstyles you think could be fun for him. Love how you draw him!!
“wyll deserves a prince(ss) to dance with him” “wyll deserves a villain so they can have an enemies to lovers story”
WRONG. wyll deserves another hero that is trying to out-knight in shining armor him. he deserves someone that will bow to him and kiss his knuckles. he deserves someone that sweeps him off his feet, brings him flowers, whispers sweet nothings to his ear. I need this man to SIT DOWN and let himself be the one being pampered for once
Nobody move. I am pondering Wyll Ravengard
*slams table* THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN WYLL A CAPE

Wyll Ravengard Rewrite
It’s worth listening to Mizora’s Early Access lines to know the angle I’m going with this.
Act 1
- You can’t run and get Karlach for Wyll immediately. In fact, Wyll, at the moment you meet him, doesn’t even know she exists.
- If you have him in your party when you go up to Arabella’s parents arguing with the druids, he attempts to intervene. Things getting hostile turn into him pushing past and you walk in on him arguing with Kagha about Arabella.
- You either take a long rest or you near the Blighted Village, and Mizora pops up—human form, apparition. Early Access-like, she’s been captured by goblins and collared and tortured. She demands to be freed.
- Nearing the goblin camp or traveling somewhere away from it (swamp, Underdark, Waukeen’s Rest), she makes another appearance. Change of plans—Mizora’s being moved, and one of Zariel’s minions has gone MIA. If Mizora gets Karlach eliminated for her defiance, Zariel will send help to free Mizora from Goblin Hell. This becomes Wyll’s goal. Mizora leaves out that Karlach is a tiefling, and Wyll assumes the best because his contract’s terms are clear: demonic, monstrous, heartless, soulless. If you somehow have Karlach in your party because of this, abridged version where she tells Wyll to kill her on the spot.
- Acquiescing? Mizora is freed, rewards Wyll handsomely in her devilish form, and takes off. Start of Wyll’s descent into Hell’s clutches. Refusing? Rather than Mizora casually waving her hand, an emissary of Zariel—an Erinyes, most likely—appears, tells Wyll firmly that he’s in breach of contract, and curses him.
He gets wings, also. Gives more weight to him being uncomfortable interacting with the Elturians in the Tiefling Party. BUT. Fly. Which compensates for his lack of rewards that you would otherwise get from Mizora. - At the end of Act 1, you don’t know Mizora’s fate. Is she still alive? Surely she must be, or Wyll would have lost his powers, right?
- Waukeen’s Rest is largely unchanged, though maybe Wyll runs ahead into the burning building to try and find his father.
Act 2
This is where the branching paths begin.
- Mizora freed route: Your usual fare in the canon BG3. She’s devilish, she’s demanding, Wyll’s her plaything. Free one of Zariel’s assets, the whole nine yards. Saving face to avoid revealing that she’s been captured again.
- Mizora imprisoned route: Apparition, she’s weak, injured. Like her last stage of Early Access. She promises that if you rescue her, she’ll end the pact. That’s what Wyll wants, right? She’s clearly desperate. Also, she resents Karlach, and reminds Wyll that if she dies because of his decision, he descends into Avernus as a lemure—which, if he completely ignores her, is guaranteed.
- Either way, after this, you can try to nudge Wyll into revealing the terms of his contract. He says he physically can’t, that’s part of Mizora’s hold on him. If you nudge him to try anyways, he CAN say it, and he’s shocked that she let him. And if you coax that out of him and give him positive affirmation (plus you flirted with him in Act 1), dating time.
- Wyll dance cutscene is post-Ketheric-intro, pre-Ketheric-fight. Whenever your first long rest with that is. Pretty much unchanged, but after the kiss (assuming you kiss. Why would you not kiss), you two cuddle together and he pours his heart out about how worried and scared he is. Not just for the fight that’s on its way, but for how he’s going to get out of this pact thing alive, and whether or not Mizora’s going to make it, because HIS life hinges on that. It ends with you
either breaking up orpromising to help him free her (and, on his good branch, get him out of that pact). - When you find Mizora—
Mizora freed route: She’s in her devil form, bratty and demanding to be released. On release, though, she’s less insulting towards Wyll and more coddling. Good boy, you’ve done SUCH a good thing, here’s a reward, etc. You can taste the poison in her honeyed words.
You can also mock her for getting captured twice. She gets pissed off about that.
Mizora imprisoned route: She’s in her human form, still collared, weak and unconscious and injured. Wyll feels genuinely bad for her, looking in through the glass, and you’re supposed to, too. Upon being freed, Wyll breaks the collar on her as an act of mercy, and she immediately attacks. The tadpole in her brain, interrupted in its attempts to make her an Absolutist, is making her feral. Knock her out nonlethally and the Dream Guardian extends their protection to her enough to talk.
Wyll goes to help her up, and she slaps his hand away, because she’s angry. He had the means to get her out of this forever ago if he would just KILL KARLACH like she asked!
But no matter. She poofs back to the Hells, but not before letting you know that SHE is getting her tadpole removed, thank you very much. Have fun with your tentacles and your cult and your suffering, she’s taking the longest, hottest fucking bath in the Nine Hells.
