Honest reveiw if youre skeptical
Best jeans ever, site is legit and not a scam which I imagine many people think it is because of Delivery times and such but I ordered on November 29th and they came today on February 9th they are so cool, me and my boyfriend have short legs and the length fits so well, slightly tight so I'd suggest sizing up a size. ALSO turns out there is an updates website, which I had no idea until messaging them on Instagram (edit: turns out i cant have a link in my review but im sure you can just search in google). In my opinion it was well worth the price especially since I got cool stickers in the bag too 😎. My only suggestion for the brand is to push their updates website a bit more to people that have bought, because I was just sat around wandering for a while. Awesome brand will shop again 💰

Ich habe vor 2 Monaten bestellt, habe eine Ordernummer bekommen und seitdem: nichts. Absolut keine Reaktion, auf E-Mails wird nicht geantwortet... habe hier nur bestellt, weil mein Sohn sich etwas zu Weihnachten! gewünscht hat... und dieser Quatsch mit dem "die Ware wird erst noch produziert" .... sorry, dann kann man die Ware nicht anbieten, wenn man sie nicht hat und dann noch so mies bzw. gar nicht kommuniziert. Sollte man der Verbraucherzentrale melden, Betrug und Abzocke meist junger Menschen.

Won a giveaway
Won a giveaway on their page for the jogs bonito drop, but I really wanted the fallen knight jeans so I asked if I could swap my item and they let me with no hassle! Super kind and responsive customer service, shipping was tracked the whole way and when the jeans I got were a bit too big (my fault for ordering wrong size) they helped me figure out a way to get the fit right. Also the jeans themselves are my favourite item of clothing now

Beautiful items if you are willing to wait.
The only reason I’m disappointed is due to the lack of available communication with the company.
I got these for Christmas after waiting months for them to become available and unfortunately they do not fit, despite my partner going by the sizing guide and other clothing items I have.
The jeans are beautiful, but I literally cannot fit in them in the thigh/hip area despite having meticulously followed the guides to a tee.
In attempts to try and contact Vescartes to see if anything could be arranged ie return/exchange - we contacted them via email, Facebook AND instagram with absolutely no response which is a shame because even despite the pricey tag, these jeans visually were worth it initially and it’s now months later with still no response.
Also on checking the website - it’s now locked off, assumingly for another incoming drop.

Regarding fit, our jeans are cut to a specific silhouette and can feel different depending on body proportions, particularly through the hip and thigh area. This is why we provide a detailed size guide, model reference photos, a size finding tool, and also the option outlined on the website to contact us directly for a personal size recommendation before ordering. We understand how frustrating it is when you’ve followed the guidance carefully and the fit still isn’t right.
On communication, our official support channel is email at contact@vescartes.com and we respond within two to three working days. We do not handle order support through Facebook or Instagram, which can sometimes give the impression of no response. If you haven’t seen a reply, it may also be worth checking your spam or junk folder, as replies can occasionally land there.
Regarding returns and exchanges, our policy is published clearly on the website prior to purchase. We do not offer exchanges due to limited production quantities, but returns are handled in line with the stated policy, and we also offer alternative resolutions in certain cases.
As for the website being temporarily locked, this happens during maintenance or preparation for upcoming releases and does not affect existing orders or customer support.
We’re sorry this experience didn’t meet your expectations, especially after the wait, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Items Never Received
I ordered 2 items totalling £160. Thought this was a UK company but then I received tracking information from China. This information alluded to them using Yodel UK and also said my items had been delivered. Eventually I asked Vescartes for a Yodel tracking number. I was provided with one but Yodel couldn’t track it against my delivery postcode, I then asked Vescartes for proof of delivery by a photo as I know Yodel do this. I was sent a random photo of a package next to a car. In my postcode there are only 40 houses. I checked with everyone via a village chat group but to no avail. I believe the tracking number and photo provided were not specific to me just random information to pretend my items were delivered. I asked for a refund which was denied. I was then offered a further 20% off another purchase which of course I declined. Do not recommend using this Company at all.

Thank you for taking the time to explain your experience. We want to address each point clearly, as there are some misunderstandings in your account.
First, regarding shipping origin. While Vescartes is a UK based company, our production partners are overseas. Orders ship internationally and are then handed over to a local UK courier such as Yodel for final delivery. This is why initial tracking may show movement from China before switching to a UK carrier.
Regarding tracking and delivery confirmation, the Yodel tracking number provided to you was the one assigned to your shipment. When a courier marks a parcel as delivered, the delivery confirmation and image are generated by the courier, not by us. There would be no reason for us to go through the full process of producing your items and shipping them internationally only to deliberately send them to an unrelated location rather than to the address provided.
On refunds. Once a courier confirms delivery, a refund is not automatically issued, as the matter must first be investigated with the courier to determine whether the parcel was misdelivered or lost after delivery. This is standard practice. As a gesture of goodwill while this process was ongoing, an alternative resolution was offered, which you chose not to accept.
We understand how frustrating this situation is, especially in a small delivery area, and we do not dismiss that. However, this is a courier dispute rather than an attempt to mislead or deceive. We do not deny refunds arbitrarily, and we do not pretend orders are delivered when they are not.
If you would like us to continue pursuing this with the courier or formally reopen the investigation, please contact us again at contact@vescartes.com and we will review the next steps.

La ont me parle d’une belle marque de vêtements plutôt sympathique au regard, et l’envie d’acheter, j’ai analysé les avis pendant 2 jours via ici 👈
Il y avais des 5-4 étoiles,
Je me suis dis bon je vais commander.

Je me suis donc dit peut-être plus de stock,
Mais de là à dire sur le site ( si besoin d’aide contactez nous via « Whattsapp », « Instagram » ou par « mail »
Mais que derrière personne répond,
Même en insistant un peu non plus,
Je peu bien me dire que mon cadeaux de Noël je vais bien le recevoir dans mon Fiak
J’ai vue qu’il y en avait qui recevait au bout de 3 mois..
Là je suis à 53 jours d’attente… 2 mois,
Limite pour un jean j’aurais pu en commander 400 via la chine sur 1 mois d’attente.
Honte à vous, honte à votre site.

Très mauvaise expérience
Très mauvaise expérience ! À fuir! Les vêtements sont mal coupés et ne correspondent pas aux tailles normales. Une veste homme en L a les manches hyper courtes et va à peine à une femme. C’est très cher pour la qualité. Et ça se dit une marque londonienne mais en fait tout est fabriqué en Chine! Et quand on dit que rien ne va, ils ne veulent ni échanger ni rembourser .

Mega enttäuscht
Die Hosen sind super cool. Leider ist der Service super mies. Es wird nicht klar beim Kauf deklariert, ob die Ware sofort versendet oder erst hergestellt wird, sondern man muss sich erst selbst mehrfach melden um einen Lieferstatus zu bekommen. Auch die angegebene Lieferzeit wurde nicht eingehalten. Dann kamen die Jeans an und die Verarbeitung sah auf dem ersten Blick super aus, aber wenn man deutlicher hinsah, merkte man, dass bei der Aufstickung nicht wirklich sauber gearbeitet wurde. Zum Beispiel: stehen überall wo die Farbe gewechselt wurde die Nähte entweder aber oder sie gehen in die andere Farbe über, sodass es auf den zweiten Blick unordentlich aussieht.
Dann hab ich eine der Hosen gerade mal 3-4 Mal getragen und ziehe sie aus und neben der Hose liegt auf einmal eine Niete, welche eigentlich die Aufgabe hat die Hosentasche an der Hose festzuhalten.
Als ich daraufhin den Support anschrieb, wurde mir nur gesagt, dass wenn ich sie 3-4 mal getragen habe kein Recht auf Hilfe oder ein entgegen komme habe, was ich wirklich nicht verstehen kann, da das ja wirklich ein Produktionsfehler sein muss.
Warum sollte sonst eine Niete die mit viel Druck befestigt wird einfach so anfallen.
Zu dem ist die Niete als ich sie dann entfernte im Voraus schon total verbogen gewesen.
Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht, dass man für soviel Geld, was man zahlt so wenig Service bekommt und dann auch noch so frech abgewickelt wird.

Tracking is only generated once an order is dispatched, which is why there may be a period without updates beforehand. If the delivery timeframe felt unclear, we acknowledge that perception, but the information is provided upfront.
On workmanship and embroidery. Our embroidery is done according to the designs shown online, and while it may appear clean at first glance, embroidery can show thread transitions where colours change. This is part of the technique rather than a defect. That said, we take feedback on finish seriously and continue to refine production where possible.
Regarding the rivet issue. A rivet coming loose after wear is understandably frustrating. However, wear related issues after multiple uses are assessed case by case. Once an item has been worn several times, it is no longer considered unworn or faulty on arrival, which is why support was limited. This does not mean we dismiss concerns, but we must apply the same standard consistently.
On customer service tone. It’s never our intention to come across as dismissive. Our team responds based on policy and the condition of the item at the time of contact, not to minimise concerns. We handle a high volume of orders and enquiries, and responses are kept factual to ensure consistency.
We appreciate your initial positive comments about the design and look of the jeans. While this experience clearly didn’t meet your expectations, your feedback is noted and contributes to ongoing improvements in both production and communication.

Other than the long wait time the delivery was quick enough and the piece was amazing. I got the Japan shell jacket and it was true to size and was beautiful in person. Jacket also came with some stickers, a little tote bag and a letter from the company. Excellent customer experience
