Pretty appalled at OneFamily. We already have two Child Trust Funds with them. Wanted to open a Junior ISA for our daughter and applied to transfer funds from an existing ISA with Nationwide. Nationwide tell me the account with them is now closed, but the funds are not showing on my OneFamily dashboard, so I need to speak to them urgently as this is a lot of money. On hold on the phone for ages, no reply. Try to use online chat, 'not currently in operation', have now emailed them and they say it may take 5 days for them to reply. This is really not good enough when we are talking about tens of thousands of pounds. Thinking we may need to move all our investments elsewhere.

My late uncle held over 50 life insurance policies with OneFamily. Sadly, he passed away last month and his family promptly contacted OneFamily and completed all the required forms.
Despite the fact that we did not select or request a Golden Charter funeral plan, OneFamily insisted that they needed confirmation from Golden Charter that no services had been used before they would proceed.
I personally contacted Golden Charter, who confirmed that they had already emailed OneFamily the previous day to confirm that their services were not used. However, OneFamily continued to claim that they had not received any email from the provider.
This caused unnecessary delays, stress, and frustration at a very difficult time. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a complete waste of time during a period of bereavement.
This experience feels deeply unfair and raises serious concerns about the level of support provided by OneFamily when families need it most.

Requested for my daughter’s child trust find to be released on the 28th December 2025, after 3 weeks called to find out where to cheque is, told it can take up to 4 weeks in the post, very strange 🤔, to be cut it short still no cheque so 2 weeks ago was told it would be transferred to my daughters account, no money arrived after 1 week, called again was told would be in last Thursday/Friday & what a surprise still nothing, I just want my bloody money this is an absolute joke, please do not invest with these people 😡

Got through quickly on the call. Very friendly, helpful, polite and professional service. Highly recommended company. Jared (customer advisor) was excellent.

OneFamily have changed their stock and shares ISA and moving current customers to new ISA. The communications have been appalling. Initial lettter months ago, then a letter in December saying further delays. Received emails saying new online account created , when registering find no balance and details. I am sure if not tech savvy the who process confusing and difficult as no clear instructions or details provided. The online message process clunky and tries to force you to FAQs. Whole process badly communicated.

Shocking service. Wanted to amend a Direct Debit , the instruction on the website was to look for the summary page. I don't believe it exists.
Rang up twice to speak to a human. After the usual intro of " we are busier than usual " I spent over 30 mins in total waiting in vain for someone to answer. Pathetic.

Useless.
I've been trying to access my Son's Child trust account as i've been locked out for a number of years. No one responds to my calls or emails. At a loss of what to do. Will have to write to financial ombudsman

Great customer service, very to the point and helpful.
