Unprofessional, unreliable company!

It's truly frustrating when a service you've relied on for years takes a turn for the worse, especially when it impacts something as crucial as communication. This customer, who had been with iPlum since its early days in 2015, initially found it to be an excellent solution for international calls and SMS, appreciating the ability to send and receive messages directly through their iPlum number.
However, over time, the service began to decline significantly. Call quality plummeted, and important calls were frequently missed because the app struggled to connect to the network, often requiring a restart regardless of the internet connection type. Despite numerous attempts to contact support about these issues, including major delays and echoes during calls, they were consistently told that iPlum's network was functioning perfectly.
A particularly irksome change involved the international SMS feature, which was once a key differentiator. This feature was eventually removed, and users were then required to either verify their account or pay an additional monthly fee to use messaging. I felt this was a transparent attempt to extract more money, as the verification wasn't initially mandatory, leading them to abandon the SMS feature entirely.
The final straw came when my numbers were blocked without any prior notification, despite consistent bill payments. When I reached out to support, I was informed that ownership verification was now mandatory, but shockingly, this option was only available to US and Canadian residents. I strongly suspected this was a deliberate move to force them out, likely due to their long-standing, favorable rate.
Determined to leave, I initiated a port-out process to a more "reputable" carrier, paying a $19.99 fee. However, this transition hit a snag when the new carrier required verification via SMS or an OTP call to the now-blocked iPlum number. Repeated attempts to get iPlum support, specifically from a representative named "George," to temporarily reactivate the account for verification were met with unhelpful, short, and passive responses, with George insisting the account was active when it clearly wasn't. I was also very suspicious when I couldn’t find any direct contact information or physical address for iPlum.
Ultimately, I strongly advise against using iPlum for any communication needs, personal or business, citing a complete lack of respect for customer loyalty, regardless of how long one has been with the service. I am relieved to be able to move my number to the new carrier.

terrible platform with terrible accounting handling

i just cant imagine how this business is surviving!! their chat support lacks all answers and impossible to chat with a live person. the menu items that are supposed to assist callers are irrelevant and there is no way to ask to be routed to a human being!
as for accounting, i keep getting daily charges then immediate credits
i tried to post a ticket but no way to get to that page. useless support and useless service!

Overall good experience

Overall, very good experience. Points they should work on:
1- their chat support staff dont know that they have android app
2- their cpanel for the account management isnt user friendly. It nearly impossible for a domain regitrar to find user domain management

The service doesnt really convert pdf…

The service doesnt really convert pdf into word. it simply converts it into non-OCR word, and more of a flat picture. Very disappointing experience. They wasted my time
My reply after their reply:
It appears that they created the very low-quality free version to push for the paid OCR. Still not satisfactory at all, as many competitors are providing decent conversions for free

Even when choosing to convert without the OCR option, the converted file should be editable, and not a flat picture as you mention.

I am very disappointed

I am very disappointed. Although i am not against having membership fee to download valuable courses, yet they also force you to get a paid subscription for mega.nz instead of other free cloud storage based such as googleDrive. You are making enough from memberships, why force people to pay extra for cloud storage of your choice? Very disappointing experience

Paid trial! didnt work out

i was interested in test-driving their content rewriter software. I landed to their website, and asked for the free trial as it shows that its available. it first asked me to sign up, which after a long process, i did, but only to get surprised that the trial requires signing up for one of their paid packages! This isnt a trial for me. a real trial is giving someone a chance to test drive the service before paying for it. the problem with signing up with a paid trial is that accounting may slip off and charge you, and you will then have to fight your way through to get a refund, which is a long pain in the neck process. So, i unfortunately wasnt able to try it

We ve tried 5 different hosting…

We ve tried 5 different hosting companies for the past 7 years. Once you pass the first month, the truth start appearing about their services including but not limited to support. This time, i meant to shop for a small company with more individualized and customer-focus service and i stumbled across greengeeks. I was real skeptical at first, but after migration is complete, every time I had a question, support was super prompt in their chat support. Price was competitive, initial setup was astoundingly fast, and billing handling was fast and easy to complete.
I cant stress enough how incredible their service is. Thanks GG! Real amazing

Doesnt accept registration and here is why...

I tried signing up during my international traveling, but it refused my US cell number. When i sent their support, they told me that i couldn't use my US number to sign up while traveling outside of the US. If i use a vpn, i get restricted. How wrong this is that i should sign up prior to leaving the US so that my number is registered. Not recommended at all!

Update to my review:
Please read the feedback of Rebtel below. This just shows how negligent they are! I gave them 1 star and lusted in details my issue, yet their answer was a copy/paste answer to 5-star reviews. They just dont read customer reviews and neither do they care!

Deactivated my account for no prior notice

Today i received an email from their customer service department asking me to urgently change my password as someone has access to my login from an identified ip address. I clicked the link to change my password and went through such agonizing experience of image verification that their system wouldn't understand due to an error, and finally entered a new password, only to receive a message saying that my account was deactivated last year and that i have no access to my account.
I don't recommend this service to anyone.

same plans with 2 different features

for the past 2 days, i have been asking on their chat support whether their shared hosting plans are "unmetered" or have limited disk space, since they have 2 different pages that indicate 2 different features for the same hosting plans, but 3 representatives from bluehost gave me 3 different answers. The 2 pages that have same plans with 2 different disk space limitation are:
1- this one shows limited disk space plans: bluehost(dotcom)/hosting/shared

2- this one shows unmetered disk space for the same plans:
bluehost(dotcom)/help/article/shared-hosting-prices
when i hatted with support today to get to the bottom of this and get a final answer, after almost 45 minutes of chatting, Daniel told me that that page was wrong and being corrected!! it is a main page under the hosting plans that they claim that the page had a glitch! i think they are deceiving people to get them to sign up! i do not recommend their service!

terrible online eCommerce company by…

terrible online eCommerce company by all measures. i received a wrong order from the seller, and tried to return the item. the process is very difficult. when i finally was able able to complete the return online, the system gave me a return code to a wrong cargo company. i tried to connect with their support, but they online have a robot support. no live support. i will never buy from n11! terrible company that dont care about earning customers' trust!

I placed an order for 4 mattresses for…

I placed an order for 4 mattresses for my children. The mattresses arrived with one of them has air bubbles in it. In a few days, 2 others had the same problem. I tried contacting trendyol customer service, but these guys live in the 70's with no online chat support and no emails. There is a general number with no one speaks English. Other online marketplaces in Turkey such as hepsiburda and gittigidiyor do have online chat support as well as whatsapp.
Terrible marketplace, unfriendly, unreliable,dishonest, and not customer service oriented. I dont recommend them.

I have been with 7 different hosting…

I have been with 7 different hosting companies in the past. there is always a compromise when hosting my websites. either slow technical support (or only via email), or speed and accessibility of the websites, or websites go down without knowing, and much more. when you have an online business, you cannot afford to have major technical issues. i switched last year to siteground and wasnt holding my breathe on their quality and service. I am happy to leave this comment highly recommending them! their technical support are amazingly expert. there were sometimes when i needed issues to be fix that were related to development where they are not responsible for such, and sure enough, they were there for me. today, i had a developmental issue with one of my websites. I connected to their super fast online chat, and Ivan was there to help me. in a few minutes, everything was in order. amazing service, quality and value! keep up the good work, siteground!

The worst online marketplace company

The worst online marketplace that i have ever purchased from. I made an order last week and received it today. The order was for i12 TWS (4 pieces). I received 1 piece of sonething called i-18. When i tried to connect with their customer service, the wait exceeded 30 minutes and surprisingly although its an amazon company, they couldn't locate anyone who can speak English.
After the long run around, they simply asked me to return it, discarding the fact that i told them that i m traveling in 3 days and that the new order wouldn't arrive on time. Too arrogant and have zero common sense!!!

impossible to communicate with …

its nearly impossible to communicate with them.if you are able to find a contact number for their customer service, there is no one that speaks English, and they still call it "an Amazon company"!
my refund was never processed despite my emails and continuous appeals! they kept telling me that my refund was approved, but i never received it. i then had to get a paid translator and call them to get this problem resolved. they apologized but i never found out why the refund was delayed. 21 days later, i received it. easy to buy from; impossible to return and get your refund, and despite the over 10 million non-Turkish speaking expats and tourists in Turkey, Hepsiburda makes NO effort to make an English speaking customer service agent available

the best domain registrar i have ever used! cheap registration/transfer/renewal, free privacy service. easy payment methods, and live chat support> i only wish they would add a mobile app. other than that, they are the best out there!

unprofessional and impossible to get a reply from them

terrible company. despite the fact that they are part of amazon, they dont provide English speaking support. i ordered an item 11 days ago and have written them many times. they never check their messages. i asked them got a full refund since the cargo company never delivered the item, but still waiting for their reply.
this is by far the worst online store that i have ever purchased from in Turkey.

Fake website that uses fake reviews to…

Fake website that uses fake reviews to sell a service to hosting companies which are normally less than average hosting companies. Try to submit a negative review on one of their advertisers, and they ll inform that hosting company to suspend your account if you have an active account with them, and they will refuse to publish your review claiming its fake.
They consider 5 star rating on their advertisers not fake and they will publish it immediately. Fake site that gains money out if lying to the public and in return boosts up ratings for terrible hosting companies and charge them for such unethical Service

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, and water and soft drinks on board are sold at extremely expensive prices in US Dollars, around 14 times the consumer prices.
I gave it 2 stars just for the tour. The bad customer service and expensive on-board prices deserve 0 rating. Avoid it. There are much better alternative services than this. If u must use them, make sure to pack up on drinks, candies and munchies before you board.

excellent filing services in California!

i have been dealing with SunDoc Filing in Sacramento for about 3 years now.
the service is superior and unparalleled!
I have been working on my filings specifically with Tiffiney Lomax! she is super prompt, gives excellent advice on numerous procedures and year after year, i look forward to connecting with her.
in all cases, everything is done online. completing forms, filings, payment handling, and more. confirmation to the payments and filings are super prompt, and comes directly to my email.
in the past, we used to send one of our staff to the State to file our papers, which took in most cases weeks. With the State not having an effective online handling to filing requests, it makes it near impossible to track down the processing.
