Vox's Rachel Cohen explains.  The trial of Sean Combs, the music mogul known as Diddy, starts today. He faces federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. Charles Bethea, a staff writer with the New Yorker, spent several months profiling one of the lead attorneys defending him.  Warren Buffet is stepping down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway as he warns of economic hardship ahead under President Trump’s tariff agenda. The Wall Street Journal has the details of his announcement and argues there will never be another investor like him.   Plus, Israel’s security cabinet approves a new ground operation that includes occupying the Gaza Strip, the president told NBC "I don’t know" when asked if he’s required to uphold the Constitution, and the Met Gala celebrates Black dandyism.     While President Donald Trump struggles to convince the American public his tariffs are worth sacrificing for by prattling on about how kids these days have too many dolls and pencils, his administration has managed to build a solid track record of executing on some wide-reaching plans. Just not plans that Trump came up with. Of course, we’re talking about Project 2025, the nearly 1,000-page policy blueprint from the far-right think tank The Heritage Foundation. David Graham, staff writer at The Atlantic, has been tracking how the administration has been using Project 2025 to reshape America for his new book ‘The Project.’ He joins us to talk about it. And in headlines: Trump told NBC ‘I don’t know’ when asked whether he’s required to uphold the constitution, the president signed an executive order to strip funding from NPR and PBS, and jury selection is scheduled to begin today in the federal sex trafficking and racketeering case against rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jake Halpern reveals webs of deception and dark underworlds, through interviews with federal agents and convicted criminals. Sarah Cavanaugh was many things: A decorated veteran. A Marine who saved her comrades. A young woman fighting cancer. She was stoic, humble, tough.  In short: a hero. These two storylines collide in a courtroom in Philadelphia, where murder, memory, and morality go on trial.      Season three, Never Seen Again, tells the story of two women living on opposite sides of the country, who went missing in the summer of 1999. Seven years later, their stories collided when a small town detective got a tip and became convinced that if he could solve one mystery, he'd solve the other.  Season two, Mob Land, is about a high-rolling lawyer who joins forces with the feds to try to bring down one of the most powerful criminal syndicates in the country.  Season one, The Drug Wars, tells the story of an FBI agent who goes undercover with a biker gang, and follows a trail of clues that eventually leads to the US invasion of a foreign country.
