Please note, we are developing the PC Windows version first, all graphics will be C64 ready for porting. The .crt version is the latest C64 development however the Windows PC version will be more developed and more accessible. We will be making it for C64 in .crt (ROM) format, then we will consider a physical version next year.

A game where you play as a cat with amnesia trying to find his roots. Just walking through the city streets looking for adventure, interacting with the locals, getting into situations and solving little puzzles.

Why did City Cat come to exist?

- I grew up loving mostly isometric games like Marble Madness, Super Zaxxon, Last Ninja, Head over Heels, Heroquest and most games I see are all platformer or top down and me being a C64 pixel artist I wanted to have a play with the 4:1 isometric ratio which is less commonly used. After some fans cried out for  Last Ninja and the demand not being as high as say a current gen AA game today, I thought, well, since we're not profit driven like that, we can go on and make something that fans of that style will really love, we can make City Cat!

Our city cat is lost, he has amnesia... finding himself adrift on a boat on the Prowl, he's looking for a place to call 'Home' ..  the world is twisted and dark, like 2 worlds of the past have intertwined and become one... The old world of Japan and the New world of the big city! We find clues along the way as well as help others along our path home...Once we know what we are, we can become... our true self! ...
