On parting, each goes to his home, the writer walking so that he may purchase with his carfare a flower for his wife, while the publisher rides in his motor car and, as soon as he reaches the house, plunges into work, oblivious of his wife, who lies sick in her sumptuous boudoir. The doctor's visits do her no good; finally the physician, wise man, tells the publisher that he can do nothing for his wife. But he adds: "Come and I will show you the only possible cure," and takes him to the home of the writer, whom he knows. There the man's eyes are opened to the full meaning of love. He returns home, determined to satisfy his wife's hungering heart, and at the close we see them happy in complete understanding. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
