The future of a people with a destiny suspended between war and the desert, in search of a denied independence, walks along this thread. The documentary tells how, in the harshest desert in the world, every day we fight for the present in the hope of a future that never comes. With the external aid of the cooperation, water is extracted from the desert to make vegetable gardens, real startups are created for female entrepreneurship, educational programs are supported, food, projects in schools, with the disabled, the welcoming of new refugees arriving from the war zones in Western Sahara but all around it seems like an alien planet, constantly trying to get in touch with the rest of the world.
