Malgré nos nombreuses courses en duo avec mon conjoint nous voulions cette fois ci en faire une en solo, pas disponible le même jour, aucun soucis, mais malgré que nous sommes tous les deux des participants nous devons en plus acheter des tickets spectateurs car nos simples billets ne suffisent pas.
De leurs côtés, aucun moyen de faire un petit geste

Avec ma compagne nous avons pris beaucoup de courses, et pour une fois où nous avons voulu la faire en solo au lieu de duo nous n'avons pas pu choisir nos jours de passage et irok nous a donc obligé à acheter des billets spectateurs pour venir se soutenir mutuellement alors que nous avions tous les deux des billets d'athlètes participants, nous avons pris à chaque fois le pack photo, consommé sur place, acheter des vêtements au shop, et là ils nous disent que c'est comme ça et pas autrement c'est une honte !

My purchase was a mistake and I contacted them almost immediately after noticing the error 2 MONTHS BEFORE OF THE COMPETITION. I have acted in good faith, provided the required information, and followed every step indicated, yet I have not received a concrete solution.
I respectfully request a definitive resolution — either a correction of the registration/ticket category or a refund. It is very frustrating to be redirected between parties without a clear outcome.
Please review my case again and provide a final response and solution as soon as possible. I am keeping record of all communications.

HYROX’s Charity ticket policy is a trap. I bought two tickets in good faith and was never clearly told that each required $600+ fundraising per person and could never be converted to Open, even if I pay the difference.
When I contacted them immediately and offered to pay the difference, they refused all solutions: no refund, no transfer, no credit, no deferral.
This is absurd and predatory. Participants are forced to pay exorbitant amounts or lose their money, all for a “charity” ticket that misleads you. HYROX prioritizes profit over fairness.
Do not trust them. Read the fine print carefully—you will regret it otherwise.

The upsetting factor was that day after day they kept saying "in the next 24h I will be created to your account" for 4 times. If you can't commit to a timeline, don't promise. I want to race my next race with the new shoe model, and I had to buy without using the voucher discount to have It in time.
RETURNS ARE IMPOSSIBLE
The order and delivery were extremely fast. I live in the Netherlands.
However returning the item does not work.
There are instructions where you have to enter your order number and email address but it keeps saying that the order number cannot be found.
I contacted customer service about this but I have already been waiting for a week.

HYROX refused a refund or even a name transfer after my friend was diagnosed with lymphoma and unable to race due to her starting treatment. They relied solely on a no-refund/no-transfer policy and showed no flexibility or compassion. This was not a casual cancellation but a cancer diagnosis.
Extremely disappointing and a complete lack of humanity. I would urge others to be aware of how rigid HYROX is when serious illness is involved. Only interested in money and profit with a lack of empathy.
Geen refunds en niet omboeken - geen discussie mogelijk
Koop een spectator ticket voor het Rotterdam event - op de dag dat deelname tickets voor het Rotterdam event ook live gaan. Blijkt dat toch voor het Amsterdam event te zijn… Slecht aangegeven. Mail ik de customer service, krijg ik gewoon heel kortaf terug dat ze geen refunds en geen wissels doen, nog een keer bericht - nu is er “geen discussie over mogelijk”. Sorry hoor maar wat is dat voor iets raars?
Kein Verständnis oder minimale Kulanz bei Verletzung
Leider extrem unsympathisch im Mailverkehr. Null Kulanz auch im Fall einer schweren Verletzung konnte nicht jemand anderes statt mir im Double teilnehmen (Kreuzband Meniskus Operationen). Somit konnte weder ich (was ich ja noch verstehe) noch meine Kollege teilnehmen.
Ich hatte zu diesem noch 2 andere Hyrox Events geplant welche ich aber auch nach meiner Genesung nicht nicht nachholen werde, da ich das Gefühl habe beim Event get es nur um Geldmache und nicht Sport. So ein Verhalten habe ich noch von keinem anderen Sprotanbieter erlebt.
Alles was mir gesagt wurde war, " leider habe ich den Vetrag unterschrieben somit können sie nichts tun". Es ist auf einem Level unsympathisch, dass es fast schon lustig it. Der Umgang tat fast mehr weh als der Sturz.

Horrible would NEVER do it again. Referees were extremally unprofessional, signs did not work, tracker was incorrect, laps were not clear. Extremely commercial. Has nothing to do with sports it has just become a money machine very sad..

Shocking computerised customer service, clearly a money making ploy, with no care for the athletes!
My partner & I had booked onto our 2nd race at the Manchester Hyrox Doubles in Jan26, but I was rushed to hospital this week and had to have surgery to remove my appendix, which meant I wouldn’t be able to compete.
We contacted Hyrox directly to try and change the name so my partner could still compete or re-sell the tickets, which was met with a decline from the shocking customer service team, as we had not booked the flex ticket (as we had no intention of cancelling).
What a poor issue resolution service, I will not be booking another Hyrox - clearly more bothered about revenue than repeat business.

Vi ramte forkert på en knap under bestillingen. Vi opdagede det bagefter, og kontaktede straks Hyrox.
Men i stedet for at ændre én indstilling i deres system, får vi at vide, at vores billetter ikke kan bruges.
Over 2000 kr tabt. Foruden det hotel vi havde booket til turen.
Hyrox var kolde. "Det er ærgerligt, men billetterne som I har købt og betalt for, kan ikke bruges".
Null Kulanz bei Sonderfällen
Leider muss man ja zumindest einen geben.
Im Dezember erhielt ich einen Startplatz für Februar 2026(Wien) im Mixed Team als Geburtstagsgeschenk von meinem Partner, die Freude war riesig. Kurz darauf bekam ich unerwartet einen OP Termin für Jänner 2026 somit ist es mir nicht möglich zu starten, ein Freund würde statt mir gerne starten- geht aber leider nicht, da ja Mixed Team gebucht ist. Kulanz gibt es aufgrund fehlendem Add On Flex keine. Somit viel Geld für Nichts verloren und keine Chance etwas daran zu ändern. Ganz mieser Service und Null Empathie seitens Hyrox.
Auch schließe ich jetzt aus, in Zukunft irgendwann zu starten.
Hyrox clothing return process issues
I purchased Hyrox clothing items for my wife. The tights were too thin for her liking so I requested a return. To start, the return request is a challenge. Finally the chat responded and gave me a return link. Let me pause to say that they only reply to the chat once per day.
The return link did not work and after 5 or 6 requests they were finally able to get it to work.
Now I have a return authorization but they want me to pay $30USD to ship a pair of tights. I only paid $9 to receive the tights and a top.
It appears that this is all a scam to keep returns down.

Hyrox Benelux admitted mistake but left me without a solution
I bought a ticket for a Hyrox Benelux event, only to find out later that this ticket type should never have been sold to me or anyone else. I discovered this when I contacted them after getting injured and asked about options. Their response? They admitted the mistake but refuse to offer any solution. No refund, no transfer, no alternative. This means I lose my money and someone on the waiting list misses the chance to compete. I proposed options like deducting the amount from a flex ticket but I got a firm no. If you are considering buying from them, be aware; when they make an error, you bear the cost.
If I could give less than one star
If I could give less than one star, I would. The experience with Hyrox customer service is truly horrific. I am asking for a copy of my invoice as I didn't receive a copy by email or in the box. I have gone back and forth with the customer service for weeks with no helpful response.
Every time they respond with a different reason as to why they can't help me, some that don't even make sense and are just copy and paste answers to avoid having to do the work. I have provided them with all of the information they have asked for in detail and they still are too lazy to do the job they are paid to do.
Do better.

Ich musste meinen HYROX-Startplatz für Frankfurt abgeben und habe erst danach erfahren, dass ohne „Flex-Option“ weder eine Rückerstattung noch eine einfache Umpersonalisierung möglich ist. Besonders absurd: Ich darf mein bereits vollständig bezahltes Ticket nicht einmal privat an eine andere Person übertragen, obwohl das bei fast allen anderen Sportevents Standard ist – und HYROX selbst hat das in der Vergangenheit (z. B. Köln 2024) problemlos zugelassen.
Statt einer individuellen Lösung bekam ich lediglich eine generische Standardantwort, die wie automatisch generiert wirkte. Für ein Event dieser Preisklasse ist dieser Umgang mit zahlenden Teilnehmern kaum nachvollziehbar.
Sehr enttäuschend und definitiv nicht kundenfreundlich.

Mi experiencia con HYROX ha sido muy frustrante. Compré cuatro dorsales como regalo para que mis compañeros vivieran la competición conmigo. A unos meses del evento, esas personas no pueden participar y, pese a estar dispuesta a pagar de nuevo otros cuatro dorsales, perdiendo los originales, la organización no ofrece ninguna solución.
Entiendo la existencia de políticas y seguros adicionales, pero la respuesta ha sido totalmente rígida, impersonal y sin voluntad de ayuda, incluso en un caso donde:
El evento no ha tenido lugar todavía
Las plazas ya pagadas quedarán sin uso
El único objetivo es poder competir, abonando nuevas inscripciones
Se trata de un atleta realmente interesada en formar parte de la comunidad HYROX
El trato recibido ha sido más propio de un sistema automatizado que de una organización deportiva que presume de construir comunidad y acompañar al atleta. Como profesional que ha trabajado en organización de eventos fitness, sé que hay margen para gestionar excepciones puntuales con empatía y criterio.
Esperaba más de una marca que promueve valores como esfuerzo, compañerismo y compromiso. La respuesta que he recibido transmite lo contrario.
