She was way harder to model than I was anticipating… but also didn’t take too long. Maybe 8 hours at most?
She makes me SO happy though. I know I say this with all of my models but she has to be another favorite.
She’s definitely the most expressive by far!
I used the same eye rig as with Penny but this time she can blink!!! And do other eye things too.
I also rigged the eye bone (that controls her blinking) to change the eye texture with size! The video show all three eye textures.
I say this with all my models but if you want to reblogs and comments help a lot!!! Especially if you’re enjoying this kinda stuff as I enjoy making models.

Please Read This—Opening Commissions Because of Foreclosure and Possible Eviction
I never thought I’d be making this post, but here I am. I’m probably achieving nothing by doing so since not many people will care but
I’m at risk of losing my house.
I’ve thought about making this post before because I wanted to reach out for help, but I told myself not to because I felt like no one needed to know. And it probably is true, but I still feel the need to make this post for some reason.
But yeah, we’re under foreclosure and the auction for my house is tomorrow. My dad has always been able to stop the sale dates (this has been going on for a long time) but he wasn’t able to stop this one in advance. Tomorrow, my family and I are going to try and stop the sale at the auction itself.
This is the house I have lived in for my entire life, and if we lose this house, we lose basically everything we own, because we can’t take everything with us so we’re gonna have to throw everything away.
I don’t know what to do anymore, we have no money and I’m doing everything I can to lighten the financial load by applying for scholarships and getting application fee waivers, but it’s not enough because of the tuition.
My parents are trying to make money for a lawyer to help us, but for now, they’ve been getting through all this time on their own.
My parents want me to go to college so that I don’t have to suffer the same fate as them (even though I’m scared that I might because of the economy right now). However, they can’t afford to help me pay tuition. I don’t have a part-time job (no one is hiring me, I applied to 70 jobs) and I need to start making money ASAP because I don’t want my parents to worry about my college tuition.
I’m going to open commissions because I want to use that money towards the tuition. I can’t guarantee that they’ll be done immediately because I have school stuff and college applications to work on, but I will be working on as many commissions I can (probably one or two per month but feel free to request at any time)
You can donate if you want but I’d rather do commissions, I don’t have a lot to show with finished artwork I have but you can check my Cara profile (link in bio)

I don’t expect many requests or donations, but please, anything helps, as long as I can help take the burden of college tuition off of my parents’ shoulders. They want me to go to college (I am a first gen), but they do not have the money to help pay tuition.

Just had to delete hundreds of duplicate notes in the Samsung Notes app…
It asked me to update the app and then after that it said a bunch of notes were corrupted and should it restore them. Said yeah a few times and here we are…
Time to migrate my notes elsewhere cuz that was heart attack inducing! 🙃
I’ve recently developed some lore on the Leaflings in my universe and I thought I’d share! (Including a drawing down below if u dont wanna read allat lmao)
• They’re split into two species - the common or short-leaved Leaflings and the wild Leaflings, sometimes called The Reclaimed.
• Common Leaflings are all the regular goobers you see in game, while wild Leaflings are folks like Olimar, Sage Leaf and Sonni (my rescue officer OC).
• Short-leaved Leaflings are made in the more common onions. They’re still alive people whose minds are simply being overshadowed by the parasite, so to speak. The control can be very strong, but there’s still a full fledged person under there - allowing for a nearly full recovery when cured.
• Wild Leaflings are made with a different type of onion found in the Primordial Thicket or by alternative means. The subject is already dead during transformation so they’re essentially corpses reanimated by the parasite, with it completely replacing any decayed parts of the brain.
Because of this a wild Leafling’s mental capabilities and memory varies heavily from subject to subject, depending on how long it took to revive them. Some subjects like Sonni and Olimar have sentience and a core identity, but limited memories. Some subjects like Sage Leaf have no recollection of past life or identity, but can still be reasoned with. Some subjects that were in further stages of deterioration act more like animals and usually aren’t curable without irreparable brain damage soon followed by death.
• The general rule of thumb is that common Leaflings are more brainwashed and more docile, while wild Leaflings retain parts of their human self, but at the cost of them being corrupted and volatile.
