I’m moving soon. To a normal house fwiw, not a transgender commune. Still, #goals

Buying a house is such fucking bullshit.

image

‘In 5 years, only 1/5 of your money will actually go towards paying off the thing you’re buying.’

'In 30 years you will have paid for the price of your house twice over and then some.’

To get this house we have to get 3 mortgages. 3!! For one house, from day 1, we will have 3 mortgages to pay off.

Uuuuughhh

SOLREA INCORRECT QUOTES: 2/??

I saw a song on my playlist that is called My Dream of You, by Solas, and was like… Surely this is a fan-made sign I don’t remember adding.

Nope.

Just a song I’ve listened to a million times.

reminder that adhd medication isn’t a luxury or preference, but a lifesaving medication. a 10 year long study in the usa showed that, when properly medicated, the rate of car crashes people with adhd get into goes down significantly–men’s rate drops by 38%, and women’s by 42%. the med shortage, denial of meds by doctors, rising prices, and war on drugs has killed–with such a car dependent society, not driving frequently isn’t an option, which means we need better healthcare and need it now.

edit because i forgot to explain: short link is to an article by the washington post, it should be free to read

I’m pretty sure there’s also been a study that unmedicated ADHD increases the risk of developing dementia in old age. I’ll get back to yall when I find the study

Found it and here’s a Washington Post article if you don’t want to read a medical journal.

@icy-moons thank you for this incredibly important addition!!! People with adhd are almost 3 times as likely to get dementia, and the way to prevent that is stimulant medication–more people need to know this

ADD-certified therapist here. These claims are ALL TRUE. I don’t have the link to hand but properly medicating ADHD also reduces anxiety and depression rates and I’ve seen it improve eating and sleep over the long haul, and improve aggression in young children.

Me, ordering McD breakfast: I must speak clearly and keep my order short and simple and have my payment ready, thus achieving a good grade in Drive-Thru Customer, a goal that is both normal to want and possible to achieve

The drive-thru girl: oh hey, awesome jacket. Is that custom? Very cool. I genuinely hope you have a good day.

Me: 😮 *whispers* extra credit

The check-in lady at this Orthopaedic place told me my hair was very fun, thanked me for filling out the paperwork ahead of time because it helps a lot, and when she asked if I knew how to get to the Blue Clinic and I said, ‘no, I’ve never been here’ she looked surprised and said, 'wow you’re doing everything perfectly’.

I have achieved good grade in Orthopaedic Patient

Priorities.

I’ve been (very slowly) playing through Bg3 with my (very Lawful Good) bff, and she just got to the party where Lae'zel says she wants to taste you. She was like, ‘I don’t know what I did to make Lae'zel think I’d be at all interested’

So I said, 'It’s just based on how much ass you kick*’

And she said, 'Isn’t that a type of asexual? Only being atttacted to someone because they kick ass?’

Anyway Happy Pride everyone

I’m procrastinating preparing for PF2 today, so here’s my BG3 OCs.

Dair - Rogue

Intended to romance Gale; did romance Gale.

I’d seen most of the characters from the beta players on tumblr, so I went in with every intention of romancing Gale – This might be the first time I’ve played a game with a romanceable scruffy brunette man with long hair, AND he’s a purple coded wizard?? Sign me up! I was willing to go another direction if I didn’t like it, but he’s wonderful *dreamy sigh*

Based off my first D&D character/first Warden, Dair is my go-to Robin-Hood-esque thief character. So, when Mol asked me to steal the Idol of Sylvanus… If was a rough first playthrough.

Rather plain looks, like all my characters that start as D&D characters. Until she ended up a mindflayer, anyway.

Se'Dryk - Bard

Intended to romance Lae'zel; romanced Wyll.

Increased the difficulty and made a character based off my Knight-In-Shining-Armor Cassandra-mancer, Cedric Trevelyan. He was intended for Lae'zel, but she insisted it was nothing serious and then Wyll asked to dance… It was so hard to turn him down with Dair… I wasn’t strong enough to do it again.

Se'dryk kept Cedric’s baby blue eyes and boy-next-door face, but he’s a bard so he’s a bit more colorful.

Scarlette - Sorcerer

Intended to romance Astarion; romanced Minthara

Full irredeemable Durge playthrough. I really wanted to romance Astarion and I kept turning Minthara down… But the girl is PERSISTANT. ‘I understand you don’t feel like same. Let’s date anyway in case you change your mind later’ jfc. Astarion had already said he just wanted to be friends, so, drow lesbians* it is.

She doesn’t remember the ritual that is written into her face, but she tries to cover it with her blood-streaked hair.

Dahlia - Warlock

Intended to romance Lae'zel, did romance Lae'zel.

No relation to my Rook with the same name. Finally got my Lae'zel romance when I did a full hardcore/save all the tieflings achievement character. If she had any memory, she’d probably tell you she’s spent time in the Feywild. She might occasionally use magic to manipulate someone… but it’s for the greater good! She’s a good person, really!

The Random button generated that white swirly tattoo, and it reminded me of vitiligo. I know that vitiligo happens more in high-friction areas, so I liked the mystery of what kind of magics could be happening that would cause that kind of pattern on her face.
