There would genuinely be nothing funnier to me than finding out that the ring on Kattigan’s hand actually belongs to Teor. Obviously I think there is more to it lore wise, but have people considered the comedic aspect of ‘We got engaged once when we were drunk, couldn’t figure out how to break the tie, and then I left the rebellion. So I guess we’re still going strong’

Kattigan critically failing a stealth check because he was too busy winking at Teor through the rain to notice his surroundings was the dice’s gift to me personally.
I hate new CR campaigns. there’s already eight hours of this show and I still don’t feel like I have a strong enough grasp on the characters and story to write the katteor one-shot I have bouncing around in my head.
Post-Overture Critical Role Campaign 4 shipping poll (Soldier Table)
Obviously, it's early days in the campaign and this is incredibly unimportant and low stakes, but I want to see where everyone's at with shipping during this first arc. For science, or something.

Who's Hotter? Critical Role Campaign 4: The Soldiers
we're seven episodes in and i'm already so downbad for katteor that it's stopped being a funny little joke. I can't really explain it either because it's not like there's been one big moment I can point to and go "that! that's the sauce." just every time Travis is like "I feel like Kattigan and I would naturally do [x]" or Teor looks to Kattigan his opinion before a decision and Kattigan gives it before immediately following up with "but it's (your brother,) your call," I feel like I need to go have a smoke in the rain and brood about it for the next hour.
it's partially the comfort of immediately falling back into old routines despite how much time has passed paired with the fact that Teor is so used to being Loza's right hand and looking to her for direction, but now he has to take up her mantle. meanwhile, Kattigan is so used to being on his own, but he still trusts Teor enough to immediately step in and fill that role to Teor that Teor likely played to Loza. they're so in sync and it makes me insane.
they’re also both just so directionless without Thimble’s revenge. like obviously they both cared about Thjazi and want justice for his betrayal, but it’s pretty explicitly the case with Kattigan and a little more implied with Teor, that this is something Thimble wants and they want to help her because it gives them purpose. sure, Teor is a little more put together than Kattigan when we meet them both and Teor also has the secondary motives of finding his brother and keeping Wick alive, but now that we’re out of the city and close to their quarry, Kattigan’s stepping up now that he’s sober and in his element and Teor seems less sure as he’s pulled in different directions. while I do think that moment of indecision between going after Cas or Cyd was mostly Travis, it was rather poetic to have Teor firmly state earlier in the episode that if it comes down to it, they go after Casimir because Cyd would want them to, but then in the actual moment, Teor hesitates on making that call because saying that his brother would rather die than be saved and let Casimir go free and the reality of it are two different things. and it’s just so interesting to see that fluctuation of that dynamic and how Kattigan affirms that he’ll go along with Teor’s judgment either way because he’s worth following is just so—[lies down in the rain with a cigarette and goes silent for the next hour.]
