The art and the artist

Someone went on an adventure today and flew into my room. He wasn’t happy he couldn’t figure out how to leave it 😂

I often look back on photos of my sweet Chattermax and am so grateful he survived. He was at an Aviary where guests were allowed to feed millet to the Budgies. He was on the ground, barely moving when I saw him. We believe he may have been stepped on. The owners of the farm allowed me to take him. They were grateful we brought what had happened to their attention. They hired someone to specifically watch the Aviary, and they now only allow a small number of people into it at a time. I’m extremely grateful we live near a very good Avian vet! He’s got a wonky wing from his injury, but he flies great now. It just has a tremor but doesn’t seem to have any effect on him or his balance 💞
