Behold the Grackle!!! My namesake 😌 and my new icon lollll

This painting is part of a lil series I did a while back for a friend who loves birds. The grackle isn't her favorite bird but it is mine so I had to include it.

I love their iridescence and their big yellow eyes. They are so beautiful and cute to me! When I was a kid I used to carefully observe the birds in my backyard, drawing them and making notes about their behavior. Then I worked off those clues to identify the grackle. I felt like such a little ornithologist and still love gracks to this day.
