feeling some sort of way about Tyranny, who is six months old to this plane, being told to disguise herself as whatever she wants to be without expectation of what other people would want (with the caveat of so long as it is something capable of blending in) and deciding to be a regular little human child with brown hair and brown eyes. also feeling some sort of way about Thimble who is also an extraplanar being and god knows how old (possibly having existed longer than Kattigan and Teor) being constantly treated like a child even as she’s maturing against her fey nature. the whole “women are never really allowed to be an adult but girls are never really allowed to be a child” of it and who gets cast into one of those roles more than another.
