Lady Nomad 03:35
Lady Nomad, she's gonna find her own path Packed up her bags, who knows when she'll be back Rode a whim, rode a whim To the west coast, to the west coast, sink or swim Dove in head first, dove in head first To the ocean, to the ocean, to quench her thirst Lady Nomad, unbuckled the safety straps No use being held back, knowing life will not last Closed her eyes, closed her eyes Felt the sunlight, felt the sunlight giving life Took it all in, took it all in Heard the music, heard the music on the wind Born to wander, born to ponder Born to feel the four winds blow from coast to coast Born to travel, to unravel All the mysteries that this big world has to boast Lady Nomad, jumping off the launch pad Her soul is craving impact So she's gonna speed off till she feels the crash Miles to go, miles to go Hundreds, thousands, hundreds, thousands, who's to know Run away, run away No tomorrow, no tomorrow, live life today Born to yearn, born to learn That the best things in this life can't be explained Born to question, the suggestion That the life laid out before you can't be changed Lady Nomad, she's gonna find her own way Make the most of each day and not look back Lady Nomad, she's gonna find her own way Gonna make the most of each day and not look back She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way She's gonna find her own way

Seems like for some, it's all a piece of cake You're cleaning up the crumbs, stumbling through their wake Pick your head on up, and have a little faith They're all a little numb, they just fake until they make There's a method to the madness, there's a need for the rain When you're drowning in the sadness, there's a pill for the pain Don't know exactly what you're doing, but you know just enough to stay sane It's all controlled chaos This old life can look like a mess We're all just getting by, man, we're just doing our best If you're down in the dumps or feeling hashtag blessed The world keeps spinning on, so baby, don't you sweat Some days you try a little harder, but you're left with less Some days you feel a little smarter, but you fail that test Take it easy, breathe in deeply, and accept you're gonna get what you get It's all controlled chaos It's all controlled chaos There's only so much you can expect to go to plan There is always a wild card that is dealt into your hand That leaves you stranded far from land When the night is black and you're under attack And you're miles off track, keep trying And you'll find your way back Just goes to show we're all a little lost Caught up in the current, the rivers of thought If you're way down low or you're close to the top Take it fast or take it slow, so you can live with the cost There's a method to the madness, there's a need for the rain When you're drowning in the sadness, there's a pill for the pain Don't know exactly what you're doing, but you know just enough to stay sane As you keep playing your way through this game Some days you try a little harder, but you're left with less Some days you feel a little smarter, but you fail that test Take it easy, breathe in deeply, and accept you're gonna get what you get It's all controlled chaos It's all controlled chaos There's only so much you can expect to go to plan There is always a wild card, baby There's only so much you can expect to go to plan There is always a wild card, baby

You always think you see her in the corner of your eye Living on the edge of your peripheral sight Like some paranormal spirit, like a ghost or a sprite You turn and then she's gone You swear she's there when you're alone in your room You hear her songs and you can smell her perfume It's a wishful thought to take you out of the gloom But it'll push you further down Where did you go I can't see you no more Come on and check out the show She's the invisible girl It doesn't have to be some diabolical plot But she's been stringing you along whether she knows it or not Yeah, she'll take you for a ride, but she's as cold as she's hot And you're left without a call You'll be wondering if she ever really wanted your love She'll fill you with the doubt you give the benefit of 'Cause she'll never be around when the push comes to shove Like she was never there at all Where did you go I can't see you no more Come on and check out the show She's the invisible girl She's the invisible girl You give her chance after chance and then she'll throw them away She'll hang you up on a line and there she'll leave you to stay There was potential I know and it was easy to see But things are never as easy as we'd like them to be She'll come and go as she pleases like she's blown on the breeze And before you can believe She turns up in California With some other guy on her sleeve Where did you go I can't see you no more Come on and check out the show She's invisible Where did you go I can't see you no more Come on and check out the show She's the invisible girl She's the invisible girl Come on and check out the show

Superhero 03:27
She can leap over a building in a single bound She can rush across the earth at the speed of sound And all the while she does this, she makes my heart pound She's gonna save me, she's gonna save me Set the record for the furthest interstellar flight Shoots lightning from her fingertips to ward off the night Shining beams out from her eyes that are my guiding light She's gonna save me, she's gonna save me Cause she's my superhero She's my superhero Yeah, she is My superhero She can save the world from danger all by herself But she'll avenge it if the rescue don't turn out so well From time to time she'll even let her sidekick help She's gonna save me, she's gonna save me She's deadly with a weapon or can kill you with a kiss Make your heart stop with a stare, make all the enemy guns miss She'll dive in after you if you fall into the abyss She's gonna save me, she's gonna save me Cause she's my superhero She's my superhero Yeah, she is My superhero When the war is finally over and the battle's won She'll pack that cape back up and put her glasses on 'Til the next time duty calls she will be here in my arms She's gonna save me, she's gonna save me Cause she's my superhero She's my superhero Yeah, she is My superhero She's gonna save me She's gonna save me She's my superhero, superhero Superhero, superhero Superhero, superhero She's gonna save me

These four white walls they give me shelter late at night And they close in on me but they can't hold me tight Or keep me warm like your soft skin, I know it could 'Cause they're made of cold stone and wood The ceiling overhead stares at me and the floor Above this full-sized bed that has room for one more The silence deafening, it's keeping me from sleep Without the rhythm of your breathing next to me Here in the dark How long has it been now The light of the moon Is pouring in The creaking of the house is probably nothing of concern Or maybe it's the ghosts of lovers past that left me spurned It could be monsters hiding underneath the bed Or maybe it's just noise inside my head Here in the dark How long has it been now The light of the moon Is pouring in Here is the mark Of another sleepless night now The light of the moon Is pouring in Looks like another sleepless night again The harder that I try it seems the further I descend Caught up in the memories that I wish I could forget It's never enough It never ends Here in the dark How long has it been now The light of the moon Is pouring in Here is the mark Of another sleepless night now It's never enough It never ends Through the window I see daylight creeping in Tomorrow has arrived and much to my chagrin I still can't turn down all this noise inside my mind I swear it's getting loud all the time All the time

Baby, you took off last Thursday Boarded a flight bound for Spain Packed a piece of my heart in your suitcase And soon I will see you again But not soon enough, I've been thinking As I sit back at home making plans Of films to watch and of drinks we'll be drinking When your plane back across the sea lands Maybe it's too soon for me to be feeling this way But this feeling is true, so I hope you don't mind if I say That I honestly miss you We first met for drinks on a Sunday Seeking shade from the afternoon sun After hours we weren't ready to part ways And still the evening was young So we strolled to the dock on the water Watched the sailboats and sunset and waves And those waves kissed the sand as I reached for your hand And we kissed like for you I was made Maybe it's too soon for me to be feeling this way But this feeling is true, so I hope you don't mind if I say That I honestly miss you I've been wondering if I was ready for this But my fears were eclipsed when I tasted your lips You take me back home Can I take you back home I know you'll be coming home Sunday Jet-lagged and ready for bed But rest up, my darling, 'cause I will be waiting Open arms and a kiss for your head So when you come over on Monday And we pull back the cobwebs and sheets There'll be laughter and smiles and love made And we'll both feel a bit more complete Maybe it's too soon for me to be feeling this way But baby, I do And this feeling is true, so I hope you don't mind if I say If I say this to you Baby, I hope it's okay And I hope that you will feel the same way It's only been a few days But I honestly miss you I honestly miss you

Black Widow 03:21
When you first see her, she's a vision in red When you first see her, boy, you'll soon be dead She's a flower of a rose over a stem full of thorns waiting for you You'll surrender to the smoke of her eyes You'll surrender to the fire inside Boy, you're gonna feel the burn long before you learn, that's for sure, yeah Cause though she tastes sweet, there is danger beneath She's gonna cast her spell, she's gonna sink her teeth Boy, you better run or you'll never see the sun shine again Yeah, yeah, yeah, cause she's a black widow, black widow, black widow You feel the temptation lead you into her bed You'll find the temptation leads to Hell instead Drawn to her sin, you're gonna fall right in, that's for sure, yeah Turn back now, you better listen to me, son Turn back now, you don't wanna be the one To feed into all the evil that she do, that's for sure, yeah Cause though she tastes sweet, there is danger beneath She's gonna cast her spell, she's gonna sink her teeth Boy, you better run or you'll never see the sun shine again Yeah, yeah, yeah, cause she's a black widow, black widow, black widow All the time you waited for another love to come Left you more susceptible, more likely to succumb To tie yourself to the first one who finally came your way Patience now, if you give in she's gonna take you to your grave, yeah Cause though she tastes sweet, there is danger beneath She's gonna cast her spell, she's gonna sink her teeth Watch her venom run down onto your bloodstained sheets Well, you had your fun playing her pretend But you can't escape from the spider's web Boy, you better run or you'll never see the sun shine again Yeah, yeah, yeah, cause she's a black widow She's a black widow She's a black widow

Miles Away 03:55
It's only four days in, I'm already five songs deep No matter how hard my mind tries, my heart will always keep her Keep her She said to take some time to try to find myself But all that I have found is I don't want nobody else but her But her I'm miles away from where I want to be And time is wasting for me to make her see The truth is that she belongs with me Until she does, my heart will slowly bleed This love it could grow stale, of that she was concerned But that I can't believe, 'cause of all the things I've learned from her From her She thinks we were too young when my life with her began Now that we've gotten older sees a flaw within our plan But that I just can't see, so what if we have changed Through all the love and all the pain, my feeling's still the same for her For her I'm miles away from where I want to be And time is wasting for me to make her see The truth is that she belongs with me Until she does, my heart will slowly bleed All the tears I never cried for you They all came out last night I don't think I have more to spare But if you tell me you're leaving they will reappear So please don't leave me here all on my own Because your love is all I've ever known I'm miles away from where I want to be And time is wasting for me to make her see The truth is that she belongs with me Until she does, my heart will slowly bleed

Got my ticket in my hand I'm going out to see the band Give the phone a scan, check ID, wristband And through the double doors to the promised land The lights go down, and here comes that gorgeous sound The crowd's getting loud as the band walks out To say it's great to be in town I'm standing on the floor, singing along Belting out the words to every song Wishing that were me under the LEDs Wearing my heart on my sleeve I've gotta be the one up there Get those fingers snapping Get those hands in the air And get those feet all tapping I've gotta be the one up there Hear the roar and get them clapping For the one up there Somehow I gotta make it happen Second set's up next And man, this crowd's the best So hell, we usually don't do this But does anybody have a request We'll trade acoustic for electric guitar As you grab another drink at the bar We all glow in the glory of music And the energy is off the charts Listening, smiling, and daydreaming Spend the whole damn show just scheming How can that be me one day Living it up on the stage I've gotta be the one up there Get those fingers snapping Get those hands in the air And get those feet all tapping I've gotta be the one up there Hear the roar and get them clapping For the one up there Somehow I gotta make it happen I'm 31, but I'm not done This ain't a sprint, it's a marathon A boy can dream, a man can too I've still got time to make it come true To see my name up on the crawl And I'm sure they'll probably spell it wrong But fuck it, that's okay I should have took a stage name anyway For when I am the one up there Watching the crowd all sing The verbal soul I bare To them my words mean something I've gotta be the one up there Get those fingers snapping Get those hands in the air And get those feet all tapping I've gotta be the one up there Hear the roar and get them clapping For the one up there Somehow I gotta make it happen

Maybe Magic 03:51
We keep walking round in circles, never go nowhere One day ends, another starts, no magic in the air Though we search in desperation, we can't find it there Maybe when we least expect it, it'll finally appear Tried so hard but now you know That you can't force the stars to glow But maybe magic happens on its own We feel the need to be successful, what's that even mean We don't even know the reasons it's written in our genes Keep on working night and day but never gain an inch Maybe when we least expect it, that brighter day begins Tried so hard but now you know That you can't force the stars to glow But maybe magic happens on its own We keep walking round in circles We keep walking round in circles We keep walking round in circles We keep walking round in circles Tried so hard but now you know That you can't force the stars to glow But you may find that spark will light If you just go with the flow It's time you learn to let it go 'Cause you can't force her love to grow But maybe magic happens on its own Maybe magic happens on its own
