Beautiful edition of 150 glass mastered CDs with hand painted covers by Tim Bradley on full color 400g offset print card stock in thick PVC sleeves that we think really compliments the, at times radical, combination of sounds and textures in the music.
The works are "over painted photographs", directly inspired by Gerhard Richter's series of the same title (Übermalte Fotografien). Bradley says: "To paint over a photograph is to admit that truth is always blurred—each gesture both revealing and concealing, as if clarity itself were only another layer awaiting revision. And if someone walked this path first, that’s no trespass for me. As Tim Bradley, I see it less as repeating a gesture and more as entering a long
conversation. The terrain is familiar, yes—but every hand trembles differently, every blur holds a new fucking doubt, and every surface asks its own questions. In that sense, the act is not imitation but continuation: another voice adding its shimmer to a shared uncertainty."
