Hold a dried orange peel in your hands while focusing on happy thoughts, supercharging the peel with happiness. Then burn on a fire safe dish, realizing the love & joy.

Sun Magic to Support Career & Business ☀️

The Sun represents success, joy, and power. The Sun is what’s needed for seeds to grow. He shines the light on all paths, so we get to choose. His power & might is the center of our galaxy, and is our greatest source of gravity and insane space magnet. He’s our own star! Creative, healing, & fast-acting. Witches can work with solar magic bring success to their work lives 🌞

• Craft suncatchers to transmute sunlight into career/business success, customers/clients, closed sales, positive reputation, etc. Keep in your place of work.
• Utilize oranges to foster positivity & happiness in the workplace. Burn dried organic orange peels, use orange essential oils in diffusers or sprays, or keep the office kitchen stocked with oranges for you and your coworkers. Drink orange juice as a potion to have a good work day. When work gets difficult, connect with the loving, healing, and joyful energy of the sunny orange.
• Cast a sunshine road opener. In whatever way works best with your practice or preferences, craft a road opener to be cast precisely at dawn to utilize energy of the Infant Sun. The Sun at dawn has incredible abilities to open doors, shine light on the right path, and to create opportunities.
• If there’s an obstacle in your way, utilize the Sacrificial Setting Sun energy to destroy blockages. Go outside, somewhere with a view of the sunset, with your Sun candle, and make sure there’s some dry dirt or sand wherever you go. Face the Sacrificial Sun and light your Sun candle (use LED if flame is unsafe). Hold candle in one hand, and the dirt in another. Tell the Sun about your plans and the obstacles in your way. The dirt in your hands represent those obstacles. Tell Him what good would come when these blockages are gone. Then ask Him to carry those obstacles with Him as he sacrifices Himself so tomorrow we may have a new day. Feel the solar energy swell in you. When ready to release these obstacles, throw the dirt to the west, giving your burdens to the Sun for the ultimate destruction. Sit with your Sun candle in thanks until it burns down or until the sky becomes completely dark.
• Wear Sun oil to connect with the energy of golden success.
• Sunbathe in the morning (can be as easy as a few minutes soaking in the sunlight from a window), focusing on embodying the bright, magnetic energy of the Sun to attract customers or a certain goal. Great results come when practiced daily.
• Give the Sun daily offerings. Check out my post on the topic. The better your relationship is with the Sun, in whatever way works for your and your belief system, the better you’ll be at using solar magic.
• Light a Sun candle while working with the intention of harnessing Sun energy. Could be good for focus, creativity, success, joy, courage, magnetism, strength, speed, clarity, etc.
• Add Sun oil to a spell jar or candle to increase the odds of a promotion, especially when cast at noon.
• Keep sunstones, tiger’s eye, & citrine on you while working to soak in solar energy.
• Drained after work? Connect with Sun energy to heal your nervous system & raise your vibrations with a solar energy bath. Make or purchase orange essential oil infused epsom salts, then leave to charge in direct sunlight from around 11am to 1pm, or all-day (on a Sunday for greatest potency). If that isn’t possible, either charge the salt with a Sun candle or simply use solar water in the bath. Just bathing with this salt will do wonders at restoring energetically healing and replenishing emotional batteries, but for greater effects, light Sun candles (or yellow, orange, white, & gold) around the bath, play Sun frequencies or a Sun playlist over a speaker, and surround your bath with clear quartz. Soak in the safety of the Sun.
• Add solar water to your morning coffee to aid in motivation, creativity, and success.

Sun Witch Tip #22: Draw sigils on flat rocks and leave them where they’ll get lots of sunlight.

Particularly useful for sigils that are designed to transmute or store solar energy, or to charge specific sigils.

Charge Sun-safe stones in direct sunlight from 11am-1pm for the highest power charge. You can also submerge water-safe crystals in solar water for similar charging effects.

Sun Witch Tip #19: Sun Catchers are a discreet, versatile, & powerful way of harnessing solar magic.

Craft Sun Catchers to store solar energy for future use, to ward or attract particular aspects of solar energy, or transmute solar energy into whatever you want.

Place Sun Catchers near windows or in areas of direct sunlight. Cleanse under the Full Moon.

Sun Witch Tip #18: To strengthen a witch’s connection with the Sun, celebrate the solstices and equinoxes.

Many practitioners don’t elect to follow the Wheel of the Year, but I would implore those looking to work more closely with solar energy to pay extra attention to these solar events: Winter Solstice (aka Yule), Spring Equinox (aka Ostara), Summer Solstice (aka Midsummer/Litha), & Autumn Equinox (aka Mabon). By developing a close bond with the Sun, a witch may be able to better harness solar power with great ease.

Sun Witch Tip #17: Enjoy your morning coffee with the Sun ☕️

Rise together, talk about plans for the day, and soak up that Vitamin D. Set your coffee cup in direct sunlight for infusion and spend some time sunbathing, charging up with solar power for your day. In my experience, harnessing intense solar magic is ultimately dependent on the Sun granting you His powers. By developing a close relationship, you’ll find yourself eventually held in His favor.

Sun Witch Tip #16: Sun magic isn’t just “love & light.”

Solar magic can be used to melt, burn, evaporate, and blind, making the Sun an incredible protector and aid in baneful workings. Best performed when the Sun is the highest in the sky, under the afternoon Warrior Sun, or the Sacrificial Setting Sun.
