I'm still obsessing over the whole page
I used a lot more clean, soft lines, and kind of tried to adapt her into a 3-D space (aka make her Shaped). Her eyes are different, and I’ve got this trick called Line Weight that makes things generally appealing: heavier lines are for stuff in the “front”, where edges meet, and stuff that’s “important” or in shadow.
It might not even be my artstyle, seeing that I’m always between them, but I pulled a TINY PINCH of inspiration from Steven Universe; Jimmy, essentially, is a Giant Woman, and I must treat her as such.
There’s also almost no chicken scratch lines on that page either (at least on her) which is something I usually maintain when drawing digitally as it makes coloring a tad easier (I’m in the middle of changing how I color too oh no)

Testing out the watercolor brushes in procreate the way I would normally make a painting

Is it moronic to make fanart of a watercolor-styled game in markers, especially when there’s a lot of wash layering that I can’t achieve here?
The way the pigment spreads is sort of like wet on wet but nowhere near real watercolor. Don’t get me wrong I would’ve used watercolor but it’s too early/late for that right now
I’d like to think I’m donezers with this. Yes I know the ITSTVTIME is game inaccurate but whatever.

I’ve been going through my old sketchbook and pencil rendering everything it’s so fun
Above–the boys and I were supposed to take a band photo for instagram but our LOVELY (/i) guitarist didn’t show up; we took the picture anyway and just had me draw him in. I love how it turned out, he looks like Scott Pilgrim a little bit, and the new procreate brush library kicks ass.
Do we like my Anti-Doxxing method? I’m not sure why I do it. because all four of us are on the Internet, it’s probably not a big deal; i suppose it’s just playing it safe.
I can’t believe it’s been so long since I used color pencils but holy frick frack patty whack are they fun to mess around with. I’m sure my mutuals have seen these doodles before as both lines and sketches
