Santino Surfers' An Introduction brings together highlights from their debut alongside teasers from what's next, framing a sound that slips breezily between psych, country-rock and sun-drenched surf grooves. Based in DK but tuned into California's open skies, the group revel in twangy guitars, hazy reverb and melodic warmth. 'Sun Rise Swell' sets the tone with drifting surf licks, while 'Underwater Disco' adds a playful shimmer to the laid-back template. The woozy 'Goodnight Mr. Racoon' and 'Moondancing' showcase their knack for dreamy, half-lit atmospheres, balanced by the folk-tinged 'Mexican Blue'. Throughout, the mood is one of liberation and ease - a neon-splashed update of 60s surf psychedelia, filtered through dusty Americana.
