I bought my Rokid Glasses through Kickstarter and have never experienced such poor customer service. Emails are either not answered or only answered once you make them public. New promises are constantly being made about delivery times, which are then not kept. Customers are repeatedly fobbed off. No updates on missing and delayed deliveries for weeks. Stay away from these products and this manufacturer

SCAM ALERT - DO NOT BACK THIS PROJECT
I strongly urge anyone considering backing this project to reconsider. This has been a fraudulent experience from start to finish.What Happened:After my pledge was successfully funded, Rocket contacted me demanding an additional $55 for shipping - money that was never mentioned in the original campaign.
I paid this extra fee believing it would result in delivery of my glasses.Months later, I still have nothing.I've sent multiple emails requesting either my product or a refund. Rocket has ignored every single message. No response, no tracking number, no glasses, no refund.
The Real Scam:Here's the most infuriating part - the exact same Rocket AI glasses are now available on Amazon for LESS money than I paid, with next-day delivery. They clearly have inventory ready to ship, but they're choosing to sell through Amazon instead of fulfilling their obligations to the backers who funded this project in the first place.
This Affected My Family:I recommended this project to my parents based on the campaign promises. They backed it too and experienced the IDENTICAL scam - extra shipping fees demanded, payment made, zero delivery, zero communication.
Warning to Others:Do not back this company. Do not pay any "additional shipping fees"If you've already backed, file a complaint with Kickstarter and dispute the charge with your credit card company
Consider reporting to the FTC for fraud This is not a case of a project that ran into difficulties. This is a deliberate pattern of taking money from backers, ignoring them, and selling the finished product elsewhere for profit.

Oh, and I had to pay for the shipping to back as well even though they sent less money and the shipping was expensive.. I don't recommend to order anything form this company..
Refuses to respond to emails
Refuses to respond to emails, does not stand behind their product. Refuses to replace missing items. Takes over a month to get a reply. Zero after sales support.
Difficulty in returning item.
No response for the item that I have return. It has been almost a month, since returning the item, and I still have not received my refund.
Easy setup and Rokid does seem to be doing better with service
PROS: I live in Florida, I was in the kickstarter, port of entry was NY, but NO TARIFF charge!, No UPS service charge! Also no charge for using AI (at least so far)! They sent me the correct lens prescription and the charge cable was included! Setup was easy. Saying Hi Rokid again and again is exhausting.
CONS: I have progressive lenses and somehow there is blurry vision on anything less than 15 feet from my face. If I put the glasses on the tip of my nose it gets better or tilt my head way down, but if I turn my head or look to the side ... nausea. If I close one eye and only use one display its all very sharp. I wish I could turn off one display. Perhaps that will be possible on a future update. Fortunately for now my brain seems to be getting better at focusing.
The green light associated with photos/movies is very bright. My order is split so I don't yet have the charging case.
UNSURE: still learning how to best use the language translation, also recognizing what Im looking at, and directions ... I will update. Haven't yet tested the camera.
Excellent AI Glasses and Outstanding Customer Service!
I'm extremely satisfied with my Rokid AI glasses! The product itself is innovative and works great for my needs. What really impressed me was their professional customer service team. When my lenses accidentally cracked, I contacted them via email and they responded incredibly quickly. Their support team was professional, understanding, and efficient. They immediately offered a replacement without any hassle. This level of customer care is rare these days. The combination of excellent product quality and outstanding customer support makes Rokid a company I highly recommend. Their quick email responses and willingness to stand behind their product with a replacement shows they truly value their customers.
Not transparent glasses
I wanted better AI glasses than my Rayban Meta. I did research and decided to order the Rokid AI glasses. I was investor 6937. Rokid promised the glasses would be delivered by mid November 2025. I currently live in Egypt, and Customs here is difficult, especially with cameras. I had planned a trip to Italy and needed the glasses to be delivered to Italy prior to my trip. The trip was planned for late December. The Rokid team had not been transparent, seemingly trying to deceive customers on several issues, I learned this after ordering. When Rokid first admitted they would be delayed shipping the glasses I contacted them and explained my situation. Whenever Rokid replies to me it seems canned, as if they didn't read my email. When it became obvious that Rokid would miss their promised delivery dates, I asked them to refund me. They have a refund guarantee on the glasses, so I am not sure what their problem is. I have asked them 4 times to refund my account and they keep telling me the glasses are with the shipper. A completely irrelevant response. I cannot recommend Rokid, I do not believe their published guarantee and they are not transparent.

I want to start this by saying that I really enjoy using the glasses, they fit my lifestyle. That being said, the customer service aspect is straight garbage and in my opinion customer service is more important than the product itself. No one responds!! I have literally nothing else to say about them because I haven't received a reply from them. Then I go to the comments on Kickstarter and they haven't replied to anyone since they shipped out the glasses.
Accessories were supposed to come with the glasses but, haven't gotten one update about those even shipping. This is crazy. I lost my charger to the glasses so now I can't even use them. I purchased another cable but I can't even get in contact with them to see when they will ship it! I have been turned away from Kickstarters due to my experience here.

Urgent: Incorrect Lenses for Backer #2709
Hi Rokid Team,
I am backer number 2709, and I need to express my frustration regarding the glasses I received. While I was initially excited to receive them, I am now deeply disappointed because I cannot use them without the correct prescription lenses.
The glasses arrived with either demo lenses or incorrect prescription lenses. It is unacceptable that, despite being asked to upload my prescription information during the survey and providing the informationpromptly, the frames were shipped with demo lenses only. The shipping update in the excel file associated with update #31 clearly states that the order was made without lenses, which is incorrect. I did not order these glasses without lenses; they are completely useless to me in this state.
Furthermore, I updated my prescription strength during the survey—what was the purpose of that if it was not used? The whole campaign and the information collection process have been complicated and misleading.
I expect a prompt response and a resolution to this issue. Please send me the correct prescription lenses as soon as possible.

Rokid does not respect their early kickstarter backers. Horrible communications, they were responsive at the beginning of the campaign. But ever since they hit their funding, they stop responding to emails. I would never support this company ever again.
Order Marked “Shipped” Without Verifiable Tracking
I’m an early Kickstarter backer (#125) and have had ongoing difficulty verifying fulfillment of my Rokid Glasses order.
My order has been marked “Shipped Out,” but the tracking number provided has only shown placeholder values (“1111,” later changed to “0”), neither of which is a valid carrier tracking number. No carrier scan or confirmation of handoff has been provided, making it impossible to independently verify shipment.
Additionally, my reward tier has been listed incorrectly despite multiple attempts to have it corrected, and direct inquiries requesting clarification have gone unanswered.
I understand delays can happen with crowdfunding and international logistics, but marking orders as shipped without verifiable tracking and failing to provide clear responses is concerning. At this point, I am simply looking for transparency, accurate status, and confirmation that fulfillment is genuinely underway.

My Experience with Rokid Products - Extremely Disappointed
I deeply regret purchasing from Rokid. Here are the major issues I encountered:
1. Embarrassing Green Screen Display
The glasses have a very obvious green screen that makes you look absolutely ridiculous when wearing them. This is not only a technical flaw but also socially embarrassing.
2. Poor Battery Life
The battery performance is far below what was promised. It doesn't last nearly as long as expected, making the product impractical for daily use.
3. Dishonest Company Practices
This company has zero integrity and constantly lies to customers. My order was delayed over and over again - 2 months or more beyond the promised date. When I requested a refund, they simply stalled and avoided processing it. To make matters worse, they provided a fake tracking number to string me along.
4. Useless Customer Service
Customer service is a joke. They only respond with generic, scripted answers that don't address any real concerns. It's clear they have no intention of actually helping customers.
Bottom line: Rokid is a dishonest company with poor quality products and terrible customer service. Save your money and avoid this brand at all costs. I wish I had read more reviews before making this purchase.
