Echoes of the Psijic

The Psijic Order was (and continues to be) a mysterious sect of mystics and mages. Their "Old ways" can be seen in our understanding of the school of Mysticism magick. The order was involved in some way with the Dragonborn's ascendency to the College of the Winterhold's Archmage. during their time in Skyrim. Not much about them is known, but they have left traces throughout Tamriel. I have happened upon several fragments of their writings, which are invaluable to my ongoing research of the Arcane.

After the defeat of Dagoth Ur, the Tribunal were left powerless. In the fourth Era, the comet Baar Dau, once abated by Vivec, fell to the surface, destroying the city of Vivec and triggering a major volcanic eruption at Red Mountain.
This disaster forced a mass exodus of Dunmer, whose diaspora migrated, among other places in Tamriel, to Skyrim. My travels in these frozen lands have put me in contact with more Dunmer than during the entirety of my travels in Vvardenfell.
