The bones of this record were recorded live during a two day jam in a cabin in the Catskills July 8-10th, 2022.
The band members switched instruments constantly during recording, so we do not really know who was playing what on every song, but we have some ideas.
Kevin took the best parts of those jams and stitched them together into a number of songs, then recorded overdubs in his home office in Beacon, NY over the next year and a half.
Guitars were re-amped by Kiyoshi Matsuyama at his former studio in Beacon, NY in the winter of 2022/23.
Mixing began in earnest in spring 2023 and lasted for a year and a half.
What can we say, we have small children and real jobs.
