having undiagnosed autism as like an elementary schooler is like “hi!!!! i love everyone and want everyone to be my friends!!!! :D” and then everyone is really fucking mean to you constantly for reasons you can’t even begin to comprehend
this is my least favorite misogynist talking point in the fandom playbook because essentially everyone who complains about the lack of f/f Is Already writing or drawing it themselves if they are a person who enjoys writing or drawing. and if you’re not a person who enjoys writing or drawing i don’t think you are obligated to become one in order for your complaints about extremely blatant misogynistic trends in both original media and fan works to not count as “whining”

i think it’s great when someone tries to pull off a tragic self-sacrifice in a story and there’s at least one guy who’s just like “no this is fucking stupid actually. you’re an idiot.” about it. because it kind of is. i love a good tragedy but let’s be honest with ourselves if a friend tried to indulge a noble sacrifice fantasy would you not be a little annoyed. like come on man.
