This was my second original embroidery design! I did it in july 2020 :) By this point i was really into using cool techniques to show textures and i was very excited to try out stump work (basically crochet LOL) for the nori. I love picking techniques that really reflect the properties of something.
It’s also VERY SMALL, see last photo with my glasses next to it.

Two April commission slots left over here. And no, it was not I that put this painting in horny jail, it was the website overlords.
A couple of days ago I had a dream about a great theme for this year’s @feanorianweek. It was a really good one, unfortunately I woke up just enough to tell myself “if you open a sketchbook now you won’t go back to sleep, just make a mental note and draw it in the morning”
So I went back to sleep.
And by morning the whole idea was gone.
All I remember from the res of the dream was my cousin getting married and me jumping ovr vences to avoid toddlers with fireworks.
In any case, that idea is gone and I still have nothing for march, but at least have an image of Miriel in her wedding dress.
Who cares if they are supposed to be white, she likes red.

Took a couple hours between commissions today to draw a (very very) quick and messy sketch based on one of my very lovely stocking fills, in which Curufin spirals over a splinter being the only injury he gets at the First Kinslaying. Thank you very much to the mystery writer and @silmarillionstockings for running the event! <3
