quick ramona <3 i love her winter outfit
its not very medieval-looking, n thats because dwarves have invented sewing machines. not that they use them much in kal-varik, but there's a lot of trade between them and their cousins in kal-maña - steel weapons and armor in exchange for nifty, practical clothes. ramona's jacket is studded with troll's teeth, a popular kalvar fashion trend
azerad, the human kingdom that has laid claim to the kalvar mountains (a contentious issue which could break into war if there wasn't already a war going on) is considerably 'behind' in technology. their clothes are all handmade or auto-sewn (a process where a magician maps a sewing pattern (or embroidery, knitting, crochet etc.) and sets a needle to complete the stitching hands-free). this means fashion in Azerad proper, where especially in winter they wear long tunics, woollen hose, and thick cloaks in simple colours, is very different to dwarven fashion, which consists of bright colours, lightweight, durable fabrics, and lots and lots of pockets for every tool you might need.
