I ended up drawing Ori’s parents in a warm-up 🫣

First is his adorable mom, who raised him!! She was a weaver. His birth-father was a noble who had an affair with this adorable lady (drawn in current-day)

Ori was raised mostly by a single mom (the noble was sometimes around mainly to make sure they were all right financially). Much later she got married and had another child.

Unfortunately, they perished during the Scourge attack :(

The noble is, however, still around! I don’t know what he’s up to though; just existing and being hot, I guess!

He did put up a memorial for the Amberweavers family, and his lost son

The Gossips

I’ve been thinking a lot about the relationship of Oriedil and Rath'andrel; back when they were both Farstriders, and before they were killed and became a Death Knight and a San'layn, respectfully.

They were absolute joined-at-the-hip besties who matched each other’s freak. Gossiping, partying, kissing sometimes; just all around happy gremlins.
